ROBERT CHARLTON, THE PI WHO CAPTURED HEIDI DIAZ ON FILM, IS HERE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS!

For those who were following the story of the deadly Kimkins diet and its founder Heidi Diaz aka Kimmer back in the fall of 2007, the day that the pictures and video of Heidi Diaz were released caused our jaws to collectively hit the floor.

Heidi, as captured on film by Robert Charlton, Private Investigator and owner of Alliance Investigative Services, was not the svelte woman she had led people to believe but a morbidly obese woman weighing over 300 pounds. Finally, there was the physical proof that Heidi Diaz/Kimmer was, indeed, a liar and a fraud.

Robert's photos and video were subsequently used by not only Chip Yost of KTLA but by The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet.

Although Robert was given credit by KTLA for a few seconds the first time their program aired, he was not given credit by KTLA in their follow-ups. And no credit was given to Robert by The Morning Show for their usage of his photos or video. So I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Robert for all his efforts in capturing Heidi Diaz on film.

According to Chip Yost, the KTLA news reporter, Heidi Diaz stated in her deposition that she sent a check in the amount of $700,000.00 to the IRS the day before her deposition. I guess she decided to finally update her past tax statements. WOW.

Local Newspaper "Press Enterprise" Finally Gets It

The Press Enterprise had to play catch-up. A reporter for the Press Enterprise thought it would a great idea to run the story on Heidi Diaz. He was a little late. I contacted the Press Enterprise after receiving requests to get the story out to the media back when the truth was revealed. They never replied. I guess they will be kicking themselves for a while, letting the national media get a hold of a local news story while they slept.

PROPS TO THE PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR WHO NAILED HEIDI DIAZ/KIMMER !!

I am a firm believer of the old adage, "Let credit be given where credit is due."

Seems that Robert Charlton, the PI who sat outside Kimmer/Heidi Diaz's apartment for God knows how long and filmed her in all her glory, was not given credit by TV station KTLA or the Mike & Juliet Show for his film of Heidi that was shown during their recent television broadcasts. Now, that's just wrong.

Well, it has been a couple of months since I last posted regarding the KimKins diet scam. I have been watching from outside the box and have noticed that I have been left out of the loop on important issues.

The morning Show with Mike and Juliet in New York called and asked if I would be available to fly out and join in the show that aired a couple of weeks ago. I was asked to send the video of Heidi in advance for editing purposes and did so with the stipulation that they show the credits with my business and personal name. I waited for the call back with flight instructions and accommodations. They never called back and aired the show without me. I did not notice any credit given to my name, just the business name with no location and it was only shown on the fist clip they aired for a couple of seconds. The other clips that were shown did not show credit to our company or my name.

Just last week, Chip Yost at KTLA put a piece together showing a taped deposition of Heidi Diaz. the piece included the video that I had obtained of Heidi Diaz and did not show credit to myself or my business.

So it goes. I guess I should have hired a PR person to make certain that myself and business name be included in the airing of a national piece such as this.

On another note, I was browsing the Blogs and found a posting from the person that hired my company to locate Heidi Diaz and obtain the photos that broke the story. Catherine McDonald is a very kind person and has commented a little on the reasons for hiring my company. Catherine is a very smart and intuitive person to have come up with the idea of hiring an investigator on her suspicions that Heidi was a fraud, and to do so using the bartering system. Catherine created our company web-site, the one that I had prior to the new web-site lacked in a lot of areas, including search engine friendly capabilities.
