TIPPY TOES SERENADES FAWN...UPDATE! BREAKING NEWS!!!

UPDATE!

This just in from Anonymous!

"Well, apparently it worked, Fawn is back at the camp. Gee, that's a big surprise!!! NOT!!!"

So Tippy's serenade to Fawn worked! See, I knew it. Phil Collins works every time.

The two of them are probably sitting around the campfire at Camp Carbaway tonight singing Phil's "True Colors"...

You with the sad eyes
Don't be discouraged
Oh I realize
It's hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
And the darkness, inside you
Can make you feel so small

But I see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors are beautiful,
Like a rainbow

Show me a smile then,
Don't be unhappy, can't remember
When I last saw you laughing
If this world makes you crazy
And you've taken all you can bear
You call me up
Because you know I'll be there

And I'll see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors are beautiful,
Like a rainbow

[intru part]

So sad eyes
Discouraged now
Realize

When this world makes you crazy
And you've taken all you can bear
You call me up
Because you know I'll be there

And I'll see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors, true colors

Cos there's a shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors, true colors
True colors are beautiful,
Beautiful, like a rainbow

How can I just let you walk away,
Just let you leave without a trace,
When I'm standing taking every breath,
With you, ooohhh,
You're the only one who really knew me,
At all.
How can you just walk away from me,
When all I can do is watch you leave,
Cause we shared the laughter and the pain,
And even shared the tears,
You're the only one who really knew me at all.
So take a look at me now,
There's just an empty space,
There's nothing left here to remind me,
Just the memory of your face,
So take a look at me now,
Coz there's just an empty space,
And you're coming back to me it's against the odds,
And that's what I've got to face.
I wish I could just make you turn around,
Turn around and see me cry,
There's so much I need to say to you,
So many reasons why,
You're the only one who really knew me at all.
So take a look at me now,
Well there's just an empty space,
There's nothing left here to remind me,
Just the memory of your face,
So take a look at me now,
So there's just an empty space,
But to wait for you is all I can do,
And that's what I've got to face.
Take a good look at me now,
Cause I'll still be standing here,
(Standing here)
And you coming back to me is against all odds,
And that's a chance I've got to take.
Chance i've got to take
Got to take
Take a look at me now, ooh.
Take a look at me now.
Take a look at me now.

As Fawn delivered her farewell message to the campers at Camp Carbaway, Tippy Toes, the Camp Director and all-round Girl Scout, pleaded with Fawn to stay in this poignant message reported by BamaGal at Kimkins Diet Truth - Diary of a Mad Housewife :

"Tippy Toes AKA Pocahontas:
Butterfly, each of us who gets the beatings all feel we need to go. Please, please don’t go. We love you and we would miss you forever. And you know what? YOU brought us no drama–they did and we all know it. Please, please stay."

So, Fawn, what will you do? Run back to the open arms of Tippy and the campers or high-tail it back to Big Momma Heidi? If you choose the latter, it will be your swan song.

Remember, Fawn, to think before you leap.

FAWN & KIMMER...THE WAY WE WERE ... UPDATED !!!

Mem'ries,
Like the corners of my mind
Misty water-colored memories
Of the way we were
Scattered pictures,
Of the smiles we left behind
Smiles we gave to one another
For the way we were
Can it be that it was all so simple then?
Or has time re-written every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again
Tell me, would we? could we?
Memries, may be beautiful and yet
Whats too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget
So its the laughter
We will remember
Whenever we remember...
The way we were...
The way we were...

The following is an exchange between Fawn and Kimmer on the Kimkins website prior to Fawn launching her blog, Peace on the Internet, which suddenly disappeared into thin air shortly after its launch.

Either Fawn ran out of fawning things to say about her idols or someone said "Ditch the blog or else":

From Kimkins:

"Re: WHERE IS TIPPY TOES 1 Day, 7 Hours ago

I created my very own blog about Kimmer and Tippy, http://fawnspeace.blogspot.com/

please feel free to view it when you have a moment.

These are two INCREDIBLY positive people and they set the EXAMPLE for all of us on the internet in regard to: Maturity and having room for everyone in a warm embrace. I am sooooooooo VERY PROUD "

Kimmer replies ...

"Re:WHERE IS TIPPY TOES 1 Day, 6 Hours ago

Fawn, your blog is just about me and Tippy? Hey, you're gonna need to expand your repertoire!"

Fawn once again ...

"smiles and blushes, okay I will take your advice smiles....

I am new to this blogging thing, so I will think of something to write on there. LOL...

you are sooooooooo sweet, huggies.

I gotta tell ya...all that fawning gives me the freakin' willies.

And below we have Fawn's very first fawning tribute to Kimmer and Tippy Toes on her ill-fated blog:

Peace on the Internet by Fawn

My screen name known by many is Fawn (aka: Butterfly)

This morning I had an opportunity to post my Sincere and genuine feelings and beliefs on another site and I wanted to share it here because it is important to me because it focuses on the maturity and positive outlook of two special people: Kimmer and Tippy 12/24/07

Merry Christmas Eve everyone, and there is room for everyone so let's continue to be happy

As we celebrate the holidays approaching and the beginning of a New Year let us bask in the glow of one another successes and ventures

Yes one of our very cherished and supportive sisters, named Tippy, has ventured on her own and we are very happy and proud of her.

To me I view it like, when we help one another and soon they are able to bloosom on their own and we should be and continue to be happy for them and wish them the best in all their successes.

What I admire about Tippy is that she gives much credit to the Kimkins plan and supports people who continue on with the low carb lifestyle of several plans. Never a negative word on her site about anyone or any plan, instead it is just positive support and the goal of healthy and safe living, with much joy and happiness just like this loving and positive, supportive Kimkins site who just wants the best for everyone and embraces everyone with celebration and not a negative word about anyone.

I am VERY proud of this site and hers as well because these are very mature people that focus on the "positive" on their sites. So I raise my low carb chocolate shake this morning in loving honor to the very caring, positive, mature and supportive people: Kimmer and Tippy who both want the best for people in this great big world, where each person has their own style and there is room for everyone.

To me, in my opinion, the Kimkins plan is special and it started me on the road of low carb eating and has taught all of us very much and helped us embrace the real us inside to come out and experience FREEDOM and for many of us, a joy for life for the first time in a long time and I will always be grateful to our Kimmer for creating the Kimkins plan that helped set so many free from a life of obesity and I know from personal experience.

It is pretty scary out there, and people arent so nice sometimes in other websites, but like a den mother to so many, Kimmer never said don't go here or there, she never tried to hoard, instead she embraced and supported us having friends elsewhere as well that we visit and hang out with. Kimmer leaves the light on for people and people embrace it.

We are blessed to have two positive sites from both of them, Kimmer and Tippy, with their own unique styles, sharing and positive attitude and acceptance of people, with the goal in mind to help others. I never thought that was possible as the internet seems to be a competitive market so to speak, but there is a peace and maturity from these two people like no other. We are very lucky indeed.

So let's continue to be happy for one another as we venture forth into the new year of 2008 with a positive, friendly outlook and embrace the joy and celebration of life in this huge world where there is room for everyone

Remember: It is allllllllll about having a positive and loving and caring attitude

Thank you all for reading this post and wishing you all much happiness in your endeavors and life.

A strong woman PROUD of her journey....Grammar Correction*
Will I always be PROUD of Kimmer and Tippy with their Maturity Levels?
Of course I will.

They both have websites but yet they focus on the positive and in MY opinion, they set the EXAMPLE of how POSITIVE websites should be.

Both their websites of supportive. I have never seen either one of them say an unkind word about the other on their websites nor would they allow it. Instead they are happy for one another and both have the same goal to help people as much as possible and they both embrace positive affirmations on their websites.

Again it is my view and belief that I have never seen two websites focus on so much positivity no matter what plan a person is on. They are both accepting, loving and nurturing websites and as competitive as websites are and can be.... these two wonderful women are NOT.

Each has their own style, nobody is trying to copy anybody or anything like that. Instead they respect and give each other space and wish each other well and focus on the people in a positive, supportive and kind manner of Uplifting people!

Yes, they set the standard of living in peace on the internet and I pray other websites will follow the Wonderful EXAMPLE set by these two wise women: Kimmer and Tippy.

I believe I have made an error as to the author of the “Kimmer” post. I believe the above post was from Heidi Diaz… As a result I no longer will allow her to use my success story or pictures. This Cease and desist letter has been sent to webmaster@kimkins.com as well as a copy to John Teidt. A hard copy will follow.

Re: Cease and desist demand

Dear Sir/Madam:

This letter serves as notice to cease and desist using the name of Jeannie Baitinger, success story, and any image of Jeannie Baitinger, for advertising, marketing and selling of the Kimkins.com program and website. Ms. Baitinger is convinced the owner and operator of Kimkins.com AKA Heidi Diaz and any assigns obtained the release fraudulently, under false pretenses, now subject to criminal and civil fraud allegations. Therefore, it is null and void. This cease and desist applies (but is not limited to) the following:

Success story rotation including Jeannie Baitinger
Front page images or write ups of Jeannie Baitinger
Affiliate links obtaining images of Jeannie Baitinger
Any and all use of Jeannie Baitinger’s name, image, or story in promotion of kimkins.com or anything related to Kimkins.com.

This will serve as your legal notice to cease and desist all further actions described above.

Further usage of Jeannie Baitinger’s images or name may be subject to inclusion within a civil class action lawsuit. "

I'll keep you updated on who lands the next punch.

THE TURN OF THE SCREW...

The Turn of the Screw, written by Henry James, is a novella where the reader is challenged to determine if the protagonist, a nameless governess, is reliably reporting events or, instead, is some kind of neurotic with an overheated imagination.

To further muddy the waters, her written account of the experience — a frame tale — is being read many years later at a Christmas house party by someone who claims to have known her. The account lends itself to many different interpretations, including those of a Freudian nature. Many critics have tried to determine what exactly is the nature of evil within the story.* (*portions from Wikipedia)

Well, Henry James's The Turn of the Screw immediately came to mind when I read one of the funniest posts I've seen in a long time, where Heidi Diaz (aka The Kimmer) puts the screws to Jeannie Baitinger (aka Tippy Toes).

You may recall that Jeannie Baitinger was the PR Director of Kimkins for a brief but shining moment. She recently appeared on national TV on FOX's "The Morning Show with Mike & Juliet" hawking Kimkins and the Kimkins starvation diet.

Shortly after appearing on the show, Jeannie Baitinger bailed from Kimkins, leaving Heidi high and dry (well, maybe not so dry if there was a bottle of Captain Morgan lying around).

So, Kimmer/Heidi, in a response yesterday to Diets in Review, dished out a big piece of comeuppance to Tippy Toes/Jeannie:

"Kimkins Follow-up
by Brandi
January 2, 2008
posted to Diets in Review.

I wanted to share this Kimkins follow-up with what looks like Kimmer herself. Back in October, Diets In Review shared with you the disappointing news that many Kimkins customers feel that the Kimkins program is fraudulent. Their PR manager, Jeannie Baitinger, responded to Diets In Review and we shared that post with you here.

It appears that in early December, Jeannie left Kimkins. This morning we received a response from Kimmer explaining the departure.

'Please be advised that Jeannie continues to follow and support the Kimkins Plan today.

She simply left Kimkins in order to help spread the word via her own Kimkins-based website. She has my blessing and full support for her Kimkins CTF Diet.

Jeannie is still a very strong Kimkins supporter, and she remains my right hand here at Kimkins. Kimkins would not be the success it is today without all the hard work and support that Jeannie has given me and continues to give me on a daily basis.

If your life has been benefitted by the Kimkins Diet, you owe a great debt to Jeannie and all her hard work.

I couldn’t have achieved all that I have achieved without the monumental contributions made by Jeannie.

She is a fine testament of the proof that the Kimkins Diet is working miracles for thousand of obese men and woman every day.

- Kimmer Jan 1st, 2008 at 6:21 pm'"

Now, please be assured that I am loathe to give The Kimmer a compliment of any kind whatsoever, but that e-mail was brilliant.

Why?

Because Tippy Toes, with her knickers in a full-blown twist, posts this diatribe in response:

"I am friggen stunned! I just don't know what else to say. Cutting/reducing fats from Atkins does not make it Kimkins. I have done both and I know the difference.

First, I am in no way affiliated with Kimkins. In fact, I don't even visit the site. Check the stats for yourselves. I will try to make this very clear. I left Kimkins to avoid being dragged into a lawsuit and a serious one at that. It is not my intent to bad mouth Heidi or her Kimkins plans. That is NOT saying I support her or any fraud she has done.

I am not following Kimkins diet. I am at goal. I did re-gain a tad over the holidays. I tried STILLMAN'S Quick Weight Loss and took it off. I do believe in freedom of plan choice and I will never bully or harass anyone for their plan of choice. As far as Kimkins plans, yes I did lose weight and a lot of it. No one wants to hear it but I will not lie about it. I have no reason to. I stalled on Atkins after about a 50lb loss. I tried Kimkins but learned I just couldn't stay on it long. But I also saw weight loss for the first time in a very long time. So, I learned to cycle it back and forth--Kimkins to lose--Atkins to maintain. There are threads at LCF which show this though they are mostly overlooked. : A matter of convenience I am certain. Check the thread "Has Atkins Quit Working For You". It's all there. Another thread I posted a lot on was Support Unlimited. And for a while Banta Babes. Some say that was never Kimkins... But on a Kimkins cycle round it WAS.

Because I did lose a lot of weight using Kimkins I have not asked her to remove my success story. I know that is going to make a lot of people mad to read but that is how I feel. It is fair. I have not had contact with Heidi about my pics, my story or anything else. All ties are severed. We do not communicate by email, telephone or 3rd parties. And while I have been granted immunity from the lawsuit in exchange for cooperating I have not joined the lawsuit nor do I want my money refunded. I just want to be left in peace from all sides. This has been a nightmare.

A family member has started reading all the blogs and such about me and is now worried to death over it all. He didn't need that at all. He has had one stroke previously and suffers from other health and stress problems. My daughter started reading it too and is very angry over the obvious lies. In fact, my entire family is worried sick for me. People who do not know me at all are repeating the lies. It is sickening of the joy some get from attempts to ruin a person's life. I don't understand it.

I had no idea when I left Kimkins that I would be starting a site. In fact, I looked into Amy's site as a new home and was instantly banned thanks to LCF members who are determined I am not worthy of support, even though I have supported so many of them on my weight loss journey. This is what lead to Brian and Heather offering to build us our very own "home" and that is how Camp Carbaway was born. There was no master plot happening at Kimkins. We can all clearly see how people who follow her diets are treated by the other low carb communities. IF she should be forced to shut her doors due to the lawsuit her people are most assuredly welcome here. In fact, I don't care if they want to be members of both. That is their right.

Further, I find it surprising that Heidi would want us to offer Kimkins plans here as she sent Brian an email with a hint she would sue anyone for copycatting her plans. And, after all, they do belong to her. I respect that. Because of that I find it hard to imagine that Heidi would write that at all... And I suspect she did not. What I do suspect is just another person claiming glory to once again put a dagger in the middle of my back. Seems my suffering is their joy.

Jimmy, pass my email on if you like. I am glad to give them an interview.

NEWS FLASH !!! RE-AIRING TODAY OF FOX-TV’s “Morning Show with Mike and Juliet” featuring the KIMKINS DIET SCAM !!!

FOX-TV’s “Morning Show with Mike and Juliet," re-aired their feature on the Kimkins Diet Scam this morning (December 31, 2007).

And this is the byline for the show:

"One woman lost 100 pounds and that’s not all — you won’t believe what happened next! M&J take you inside the dangerous Kimkins diet that some call 'Atkins meets anorexia.'"

Let's hope the show was updated, advising viewers that Jeannie Baitinger (aka Tippy Toes) has since left Kimkins, and after being granted immunity, is now providing information to John Tiedt, the lawyer for the Plaintiffs in the class-action suit against Heidi Diaz/Kimmer.

If you missed the show's repeat this morning, you can view it in its entirety, plus read a transcipt of the show, by clicking on these links:

WHICH KIMKINS POSTER GIRL IS A MEMBER OF CAMP CARBAWAY ???

Pin-Up Girl: Girl Hunt Magazine
Poster Girl: Girl Hunt Magazine

Given the widespread belief that Tippy and Heidi are still in cahoots (in spite of Tippy's denial to the contrary) and in light of Tippy's deletion of her blog and Fawn's blog cleansing, both which occurred this morning (and which adds, in my opinion, credence to the aforementioned widespread belief), you can't imagine the shock I felt at learning today of a certain Kimkins poster girl's membership at Tippy Toes' Camp Carbaway. I would have thought that this poster girl would have run as far away as she could from any future involvement with Tippy Toes.

I have put up a poll so that you can vote anonymously for which poster girl you think has joined Tippy's little campsite. You will find the poll on the right panel of my blog, so please vote now. Multiple votes are allowed.

In the meantime, if the Kimkins poster girl would like to contact me re her membership at Tippy's camp, I'd be delighted to hear from her.

You are going to be charging people? Have you learned nothing?
December 24, 2007 9:55 AM

Shelby, yes I have learned a lot. I have learned NOT to allow other people dictate to me what I should and should not do. I have learned that it does cost money to open and run a website. There are many fees you may not be aware of. Domain, LLC, accountant fees, and insurance are just to name a few. So before you get all carried away with worries thinking that I am about to make money think again. Breaking even would be nice.
Now, let me tell you another thing. This may come as a surprise to you and yours but I don't give a rats ass what you think. lol Had you not noticed that by now?

You know, I have no stake on either side of this debacle, but you might come off as more believable and sincere if you weren't so intent on blowing your horn. We get it. You think you're great. True greatness is evident when you don't have to tell everyone you are. This sort of self-aggrandizing just turns people off.

I am sorry you feel that way. It was a beautiful PM (*see the "beautiful pm"below) and I wanted to share it. I didn't write it. I did think it was nice to see something positive. And why would you say I think I am great? Because I won't back down from the bullies? Because I won't just go away? Because I won't say I am sorry when I am not? Because I will not let my heart get broken from slander? Because I can see through the BS and point it out right here?

The reason I say you think you are great has nothing to do with all those things you listed. It has to do with tooting your own horn, like I said in the original comment. publishing a 'love letter' to you is what is self-aggrandizing. It should be enough for you to have received it. It should have made you feel special. It cheapens it to take it public.Whether you have anything to say your sorry for, or back down from, would be something for you to know in your heart it's not for me to say.Again...Kimkins, LCF or any of the rest of the garbage means nothing to me. No animosity here, regardless if you wish to see some where none exists.I wish you success in whatever you chose to do in your life.

I am so sorry you felt that publishing this PM was a bad thing. I thought it would be nice to share a positive comment. If this offended you in any way, then for that I am sorry. AND HERE IS FAWN'S "BEAUTIFUL PM":

"Dear Pocahontas [aka Tippy Toes],

I just wanna say, thank YOU for all you have done to help people. This site is WONDERFUL, loving, supportive and calming.

I want to thank you for inviting people to join your site and giving them time to adjust and bond with one another before the influx of people come in shortly.

Your site is just AMAZING and soothing... its like a safe haven if you will and I am sure I am not only speaking for myself, people are VERY happy here, girl you DONE GOOD!!!!! and you should be VERY PROUD of you as we ALL are.

Heather is one incredible person, she lends an ear, never judgemental, a heart of pure gold and kindness and VERY helpful and supportive. At first I was kinda afraid and shy to venture here, because not so many people like me because I will always be grateful for the K plan that started me on the course of low carb living and people on other sites are NOT so nice to be at all as you may or may not know... to be honest they were down right mean and agressive when they saw my name.... So I landed quietly in camp and before ya know it... I was posting away LOL. Heather helped me a lot in transitioning outside my box so to speak and I got an opportunity to bond with Heather as she helped me with my transition and kinda like letting me know that this site was a SAFE place and people would be nice to me here, etc. That help and bonding sincerely helped me out a LOT, there are no words to explain for real.

This is a WONDERFUL site and okay let me stop on this topic because I never thought it was possible for a site to be so friendly and nonjudgemental with such love and caring irregardless of what plan people are on... there is NO competition here, its just sharing and love and PEACE and okay I will stop before I start crying and chit LOL.... crying from JOY sincerely. Thank you for opening this site Tippy for real thank you. YOU are a GEM in an internet world of seemingly not so nice people sometimes. God Bless you and what You and your team are doing for people... its just WONDERFUL!

Tippy, I just wanna say I am so PROUD of youand MORE proud that the future price for new people to join is ONLY 19.95... thats AMAZING... I worried that was that enough to run a site.... I mean WOW... TRULY you CARE about peoples pockets and budgets .. I mean REALLY how GENEROUS you are to have such a LOW price.... I just cant thank you enough. Cearly the price shows that you are not trying to get rich by ANY means, instead the joining price shows a caring of Humanity and trying to make it available for even poor people and the working poor. wow..... there are NO words to thank you for what you are doing for people Tippy.

Congrats to you and your team and your generous heart... I just ... wow.

How do I really thank someone who is so SELF-LESS? that what I meant by WOW!

huggies

and God Bless you and your team!

PercibleBertrum said...I've been looking for a diet to start this year. You seem so nice. Is everyone as nice as you in the kimkins? What is the difference between the Tippy and the Kimmer place? Is one better for the men?Thank you. Percible

Dear Percible Bertrum,

Thank you for posting on my blog. I commend you for looking for a change of lifestyle in regards to healthier foods maybe and exercise, etc.

In regard to asking me is everyone as nice as you may believe I am, I can only speak from my personal experience, smiles. There are nice people on both sites who focus on the positive and support one another. I was kind of shy when I first got there but that was short lived, because then I got comfortable, smiles. It was more like they got used to me rather than me getting use to them because I have a tendency to type a lot :)

You asked me about the difference between the two sites:

One has been around longer, has a variety of plans available, even cycling between plans and is well established of course. The other website is new and yet is growing rapidly and has very friendly, bubbly people as well. They have several plans as well that are focused on low-carb living, for example the Atkins plan, south beach, etc.

Both offer a variety of information on various topics and not just about food. Both have a good and caring staff and members that we come to know and love and bond with. Both are very supportive no matter what plan you choose to participate in.

Is one better for the men? I believe that would be a personal choice.

Both sites are very supportive of people, regardless of gender, walk of life, color of skin and race, religion, etc. and both groups focus on the POSITIVE in their websites.

So maybe when you have an opportunity you can take a moment to visit both sites as a guest maybe and see for yourself.

I hope I have helped in some way and please understand that I tried to answer your questions to the best of my ability and experience.

I truly believe in my opinion that those two websites set the standard for other websites to follow in regard to "focusing on the POSITIVE and being Professional." Again thank you for coming by and posting.

FAWNING & KUDOS FROM TIPPYTOES & KIMMER

Well, a new blogger has emerged on the scene and her posts have warmed the cockles of my hardened heart. Her name is Fawn and she has been a steadfast and overly fawning admirer of both Kimmer/Heidi Diaz and TippyToes (Jeannie Baitinger). Her idolation of Kimmer has always been disturbing to me, but now she is spreading the love to TippyToes.

TippyToes, in previous posts on her blog, not only distanced herself from Kimmer and the Kimkins starvation diet, but has slammed Kimmer personally.

Reading the comments on Fawn's post below, it would appear that Kimmer and TippyToes are still sharing the same bed, while Fawn is playing both sides of the mattress:

TIPPY TOES BLOWS HER COVER !!!

Jumping to Conclusions About Kimmer

Because Kimmer sent me a kind message through Fawn's blog does not mean I am the front for her new site. While it is true that I have been upset after being lied to on a number of occasions, Kimmer has never done to me what LCF has. I do not hate her even if I do not agree with many things. I have severed all ties with Kimmer and have blocked any emails she may have tried to send. I have been grated immunity from the lawsuit in exchange for my cooperation with Teidt. Teidt and I have both signed those documents. I have turned over all emails and the like as I was asked to do. I have learned new information in the process and some was shocking. However, I do not wish Kimmer harm as so many do. I wish no one harm. If Kimkins does survive I hope that Kimmer has learned from her mistakes and that she will make every effort to see that her members stay safe. Her members are more important than any of the business tactics she has used. If her site does get shut down (and I am not aware of any new developments at this time) we will not be affiliated. If her site stays up we are still not affiliated. Period.

Ah, Tippy...I think the phrase you're looking for is "granted immunity," not "grated immunity." The dictionary is your friend, Tippy. Don't be afraid to use it.

Frankly, your attempt to disassociate yourself from Kimmer is rather disingenuous, Tippy, especially with it coming so closely on the heels of Fawn's blog post here:

KIMMER TO TIPPY...TIPPY TO KIMMER... HELLO???

I was trying to figure out what in the hell Tippy Toes was blathering on about in 2 new posts on her blog this morning. I put my confusion down to the fact that I hadn't had enough coffee. Tippy Toes, of course, is Jeannie Baitinger, formerly of Kimkins and now the new Camp Director at Camp Carbaway.

Well, 3 cups of coffee later, and I'm still trying to figure out Tippy's snipped e-mails from Kimmer to Tippy and vice versa.

Thankfully, fellow blogger Mariasol, came to my rescue. Please see Mariasol's blog post, TIPPY -- IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY:

Mariasol

Tippy Toes, sometimes when you "snip" too much, nothing makes sense. Maybe, for example, you could have prefaced your first post today with a bit of background (i.e. Kimmer having asked you to be the PR Director of Kimkins .

And by the way, your spelling remains atrocious (e.g. "passed" should have been "past"). PLEASE use a dictionary. Your continued butchering of the English language is embarrassing, to say the least. Ta.

BANNED KIMKINS PIN-UPS FEEL THE STING OF HEIDI'S BAN BUTTON !!!

We now know what triggered Heidi/Kimmer's push of the Kimkins ban button sending Brian and Heather, former pin-ups on the front page of the Kimkins diet website, to banned camp. In an e-mail to Kimmer, Brian wrote the following:

"On Dec 14, 2007 6:49 PM, Brian wrote:

Hi,

I understand that Heather sent you an e-mail this morning requesting that we not be on the home page anymore. This does not bother me, andthanks for honoring her request. We had discussed this, but had noidea she was going to ask.

I do have a question for you, however. Why did that request result in us not being able to access the site anymore? I can kind ofunderstand Heather since you gave her free membership in return forthe home page feature, but I did pay for my membership, and I don'tthink I did anything wrong.

It is true that Jeannie [Tippy Toes/Jeannie Baitinger] and I have started a new web site for peopleto join and get support who have no where else to go. We havehowever, not said anything derogatory about you or your site / woe.We are in fact not even trying to "compete." We were concerned that if legal problems succeed in closing your doors, we wanted a safeplace for you members to go. (and we both know that LCF is not a safeplace.)

I have remained, (until today when I could not log on) an active member of your forums, and have gained many friends there who I lookto for support and to help give support. I have not tried to take anymembers from your site, I have not tried to keep others from joiningyour site. In fact I still tell people that ask that I am followingthe KK diet.

I truly am sorry for your legal and personal struggles. I would notwish them on anyone. I am not a doctor nor a nutritionist, but I will be the first to admit that following a low fat low carb diet hashelped me to break my stall and continue to lose weight. I willcontinue to follow the basic tenants of your diet that I learned whilea member, until I lose another 70 lbs and reach my goal.

I know I have said in posts that I really don't care who you are orwhat you have, or have not, done. I don't think the diet isunhealthy, my doctor does not think the diet is unhealthy, and it works.

I think the campaign that LCF is on is ridiculous. Everyone isentitled to their own opinions, but America is a free market economyand if you want to, and can, make a buck that is your right.

All that being said I would like on of two things.

1.) reinstate my membership, so that I can continue to post o yourforums.

or

2.) please consider refunding my "lifetime" membership fee, since Iam still alive and have not broken any TOS, and I am still quite alive.

If you can not, or are unwilling to do either of the above, pleasehave the courtesy to make sure my private information (e-mail, familyweb site, AIM, and Skype info) is wiped from my user profile, andunsubscribe me from the threads I was subscribed too. The e-mails reminding me there is a new post are not needed if I can not get tothem.

Thank you,
Brian

PS I hope things work out for you"

AND HERE IS HEIDI/KIMMER'S REPLY TO BRIAN:

From: Kimmer
Date: December 15, 2007 10:12:32 AM MST
To: "Brian"
Subject: Re: Hello???

Hi,

Thanks for your well thought out note.

Heather's request to no longer participate in the Watch Us Lose project without notice was harmful to Kimkins. Not only will there be manhours spent to answer member emails to why, but the replacement participants should have been added simultaneously in a coordinated effort. Heather's demand for immediacy caused us hardship.

Heather explained that you and she were reneging on your Watch Us Lose commitment due to the Kimkins controversy harming your family. I'll presume this is the reason and not the conflict of appearing on the front page of Kimkins while promoting your own new website.

However, since your Kimkins problems stem purely from an affiliation with us it would clearly be in your best interest to make a clean break. Continuing to post in Kimkins forums will only serve to fuel your link to the controversy and prolong the resulting harm to your family that Heather has stated.

Kimkins is not closing its doors (despite Jeannie's claims) and business functions are back to normal.

Jeannie is aware we prepared a backup site for our members several months ago as a precautionary measure. We take issue with potential confusion Jeannie may be causing by promoting her new site as the Kimkins backup site. It is not and should not be promoted as such. We will defend copyright infringement issues and have shut down one copycat site this week.

Please provide your mailing address for a membership refund check and we will modify Heather's and your account per your instructions.

I wish you, Heather and Jeannie the very best in your new endeavor.

CAMP CARBAWAY'S THEME SONG & GAME!

Tippy Toes (Jeannie Baitinger) has been very, very busy the past week, purloining Kimkins.com pin-ups and members. She's had absolutely NO time for marketing her "new" diet and board.

So I thought I'd help Tippy out with some marketing ideas to lure people desperate to lose weight to her very own Camp Carbaway.

I think this idea will work like a charm......a theme song and game, all rolled into one. Could a marketing ploy get any better?

Tippy, please check it out here. It will make you a fortune:

KIMKINS PIN-UPS FOUND !!! AT CAMP CARBAWAY !!!

Missing-in-Action Kimkins.com pin-ups, Brian and Heather, have been found!

Magicswoman, uber LCF detective, reported the following on my blog post MISSING PERSONS ALERT! KIMKINS PIN-UP COUPLE MISSING !!! :

Magicsmom said...

"Medusa, Brian and Heather are running the Camp Carbaway site. He is the one who created it, and he's the administrator.
December 15, 2007 1:05 AM"

Thank you, Magicsmom! We were worried sick about them.

And from our amazing HoneyBee on LCF:

"Yes, they [Brian & Heather] have been involved from day one. I think I posted on that when I posted about TT's new site. But I didn't share this at the time....the domain of campcarbaway was originally owned by Heather. It seems that it was purchased/transferred to Tippy just prior to TT starting her blog.

*Heather and Brian are no longer on kimkins as of today. They were both banned within a few minutes of asking to be removed off the front page of kimkins.com.

So even though they may have CampCarbaway..... I wanted to saythey also now belong to BANNED CAMP!"

[SNIP]

"...They were not a success yet, therefore they had no value to Heidi anymore once they left kimkins.com."

SO Tippy Toes (Jeannie Baitinger) has purloined 2 more rising stars from Kimkins.com. Heidi must be wild. Bet my last dollar that Heidi and the Cap'n are drowning their sorrows.

AND word on the street has it that Brian and Heather are running Tippy's forums and that our Fawn (yes, the adorable camp-follower, fawning Fawn....huggiesssssssssssssss!) is also spreading the love on those forums. That would be enough to send me running wildly through the woods at Camp Carbaway.

Heidi! Fawn seems to be workin' both you and Tippy. Feeling betrayed, angry, insulted? Well, hopefully you do because now you know how ex-Kimkinites you banned feel. Oh, hold on now. Silly me. How could you possibly feel any of those emotions? Sociopaths have no empathy, do they?

Must be lonely at the top, Heidi. Feel a little like Captain Queeg?

MISSING PERSONS ALERT! KIMKINS PIN-UP COUPLE MISSING!

MISSING PERSONS ALERT !!!

The following All Points Bulletin was issued on December 14, 2007:
CURRENT STATUS: Unresolved

As is my wont, I often check the Kimkins.com site to see how Heidi is doing in her stupendous weight loss effort following her own Kimkins diet. Let's just say the pounds ain't droppin' off her sorry arse. So tonight I decided to check her numbers.

And what did I find on the front page of Kimkins.com? Pin-ups, Brian and Heather, have disappeared from the front page of the Kimkins website! Oh, no! Here's what it looks like now:

Now where on earth could they have gone? Did they piss off Heidi and were sent to banned camp?

Speaking of camp, maybe they hiked over to campcarboway to join camp director, Tippy Toes (Jeannie Baitinger), on her new diet board.
Now wouldn't that be whole lotta wholesome fun and games? Frying egg whites in a cast-iron pan on a Coleman stove, canoeing, eating bark and berries, hiking through fields of poison ivy, playing tetherball, horseshoes, staying up past midnight and telling scary low-cal stories to one another...I must stop there. The thought of life at campcarboway is making me **dizzy** with excitement.

If you have a tip on the whereabouts of our Brian and Heather, please leave a comment on this post. We're itching (got hives at campcarboway) to ascertain their whereabouts. All tips will be kept strictly confidential, so please leave your tip anonymously.

REWARD OFFERED !!! (one sugar cookie with sprinkles, and a bottle of the Cap'n).

TIPPY TOES IS SOOOO YESTERDAY...

Well, I don't know about you, but I've heard enough claptrap from Tippy Toes (Jeannie Baitinger).

So, Tippy...

And, Tippy:

Since Tippy has now had her 5 minutes of fame, let's all ...

The silence will drive her crazy.

WARNING:

Tippy Toes (Jeannine Baitinger) has set up a new low-carb diet website [campcarbaway(dot)com] in an attempt to lure Kimkinites from Kimkins.

Campcarbaway?? Sounds like a glorified boot camp to me. Heidi Diaz (Kimmer) is going to be SO pissed.

Based on past bait-and-switch performances, I would suggest avoiding Tippy's site like the plague.

Please warn all your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, enemies (scratch "enemies") NOT to join. Thank you.

TIPPY TOES (JEANNIE BAITINGER) STARTING A NEW DIET WEBSITE ??? OH, NO! SAY IT AIN'T SO!

JoanieOrchard at LCF drops a bomb!

"Ok, at the risk of sounding like I’m beating a dead horse, I have got to bring this up again because no one else commented on it, yet when I read Amy’s words, this idea jumped off the page at me.Go back and reread what Amyb posted. Now I know we can speculate all night long about what is going on. The ONLY thing she wanted to know about was Flippy. Nothing else was asked. After all that has been exposed and written these last months, WHY would Amy suddenly be asking about Flippy? As far as Kimkins, Flippy is gone from the radar. Why would Amy care about Flippy so suddenly?

She then went on to say:

Quote:

You know what guys? The more I think about this, the more I think about the rumors that Flippy is starting her own site, the more I am certain that she is trying to drag AmyB into it. Now maybe I’m getting all fired up about nothing, but just the thought that Flippy might be recruiting and using Amy infuriates me.

Think about it! She can't recruit from the people she's already banned. Her only 'pool' would be the people STILL on the Kimkins site. It makes such perfect sense to me, and had Amy not posted earlier asking only about Flippy, it never would have occurred to me that Flippy might be balzy enough to actively recruit so soon.

What better way for Flippy to get back at Heidi than to start her own site? AND, to add insult to injury, if she gets AmyB and her friends out of Kimkins, she would really be sticking it to Heidi. Talk about Flippy flippin' someone the bird. And I just KNOW she will do it at the expense of people like AmyB. Drag them into a site that's bound to be filled with drama and disappointment.

I’ll write it the way I see it, and yes I won’t have it all right, but I would put money on a lot of it being right. I’d BET that Flippy contacted Amy when Amy was banned, and I’ll just BET that she approached Amy about either starting a site together or starting a site where Amy is a moderator or something. If I have to write it, it wouldn’t surprise me if maybe Flippy told her to approach Heidi to get back on the site. Maybe this way, Amy would be better able to reach out to the members there.

Anyone who thinks that Flippy is going to just walk away and be satisfied with posting on her blog, I think, is sadly mistaken.

Ok, how much money or how many sugar cookies do you all want to bet on this?

I know Amy is an adult, and she is more than capable of making her own decisions, but after the year she’s had, it makes me sick to think that she might now be suckered in by Flippy. And I can only hope that, if this is true, that Flippy is not asking her for money.

And Amy, if you are reading this, please think again. How good a friend was Flippy to you before she needed you for something? And I'll say something else again, if you aren't happy with the existing low carb sites and boards, and you want to leave Kimkins, you don't need Flippy to get you out of there. SHE needs YOU. Be sure you understand that. If I'm right on this, please consider a site of your own that has no affiliation whatsoever with Flippy. You are just inviting trouble.

Please, I urge everyone to go back and read her words again, and ask yourself, WHY is she so interested in Flippy? Why didn't anyone else notice this? Honeybee, Missi, Bama ---- where ARE you? Didn't any of you pick up on this?

I just know I'm right. I know it. I know it. I know it."

*****

And later in the LCF thread, JoanieOrchard posts:

Quote:

It makes a difference to me because I think Heidi and Flippy are cut from the same cloth. It makes a difference to me because while I only know AmyB from her words on here and her words on her son's Caring Bridge site, I happen to like her. I see how hard it is for her to break away from Kimkins, and I would hate for her to end up someplace else that might not be good for her. Flippy's theatrics are well known and well documented, and I would hate to see Amy, or anyone else, get involved with anything that Flippy has a part of.

It makes a difference to me because while Heidi is doing everything she can to salvage Kimkins, I'm not convinced that this isn't something she might be a part of.

It makes a difference to me because once again, Flippy would be out there dispensing her diet advice - something she just isn't qualified to do. Just because she lost a large amount of weight does not mean that she is a diet expert, yet that is exactly what she professes to be when she makes her claims to the "low carb community".

It makes a difference to me because I really do feel that, if this is true, she is trying to take advantage of someone who just doesn't deserve it. We are all vulnerable, but my take on it is that Flippy selected the most vulnerable one of all, and that bothers me.

And on a more personal level, it makes a difference to me because frankly, I just don't like her. I don't like how she treated so many of the Kimkins members. I don't like that she threw so many people off the site. And I have no reason to believe that if she has a site of her own that she's going to act any differently.

I could be wrong on all this, but I just don't think so."

JoanieOrchard, I like the way you think. Don't think for a moment that you "could be wrong on all this."

I think you are definitely on to something here. Great detective work, great catch and great posts! Kudos to you!

For the rest reading this I just wanted to make one thing clear. I do not believe the Kimkins diet is harmful if medically supervised and with proper supplements and calories over 800 (more is better). I am sorry if this is offensive but I just cannot lie about it. I have lost over 68 lbs on Kimkins in cycle rounds. What is wrong with Kimkins, in my opinion, is pushing the plan behind the plan, cutting calories lower and lower... This I do believe is extremely dangerous and I would never advise such.

I’m so glad you clarified your position on Kimkins. It’s important to me to know what you believe. And your credentials are … ? Oh, I forgot you were subcontracting as the PR Director for Kimkins for two months. What else is on your resume? What are your other qualifications? And since we all know that Heidi has no medical/nutritional credentials to design a diet program, you must think that you do since your opinions are supposed to be so valuable. So what are those credentials? The nutrionist on the M & J Show wasn't too impressed with your credentials. Maybe because you didn't have any?

You offer us a critique of Kimkins and your disapproval of the plan behind the plan. Where do you think the plan behind the plan came from? Now, come on, you know Kimmer advocated all that crap before Kimkins.com was even started. Anyone (you) who went to Kimkins.com from LCF knew exactly what the diet was about, and anyone (you) who feigns ignorance and innocence about the plan behind the plan is being conveniently forgetful. The plan behind the plan was/is Kimkins.

My problem with Kimkins is not the diet. It is the founder, the starvation advice I now know that was previously given by her and the dishonesty that followed.

You now know? You didn’t know about the starvation advice that she offered when she was on LCF? You didn’t know about that advice when you followed her to Kimkins? You didn’t know about that advice when Christin left Kimkins, and Becky left Kimkins, and Deni left Kimkins? You didn’t know about that advice when it was posted, for all to see, on LCF and on Kimkins? You didn’t know about that advice when there were multiple fascination threads on LCF and hundreds of other boards and blogs? You went on television three weeks ago to promote Kimkins, and you didn't know that Heidi offered starvation advice? As PR Director, there sure was an awful lot that you didn’t know. You might want to leave that PR job off your resume. It doesn’t speak highly of your skills.

I have a problem that she is accepting money from new members knowing her site is (in her words) unstable. I feel bad for existing members who may soon find themselves with no home base or support.

As recently as a month ago, you didn’t have a problem when people paid 49.95 as long as your money was paid every month. Seems a little suspicious that you didn’t get this compassionate awareness until your money stopped coming in.

I do apologize to Christin and Deni. I am very sorry I accused you both of setting poor examples as moderators. I now understand you were following the advice and orders from a woman you thought was 118lbs and on maintenance for 5 years. Please forgive me.

You now understand? Exactly WHAT caused this epiphany on your part? Was it when the paychecks stopped?

As far as scrubbing the site I have no idea what people really mean by that.

Oh for heaven’s sake. Why is it that when you don’t want to be honest about
something, your posts are littered with “I don’t know” and “I don’t understand”.

I ask that you try to have patience for Kimkins members. This is not going to be easy for them should the site close.

When have we not had patience with Kimkins members? Any time someone comes here, as a former Kimkins member, they are embraced. You’re trying to come across as someone very concerned about the Kimkins members. Too bad you weren’t concerned when Kimkins members were being thrown off the site when their only infraction was to voice a concern or a difference of opinion. Those people needed support too, but you obviously weren’t too concerned about them. Whether you personally pushed the ban button is not the issue. As long as your money continued to come in, you did nothing to stand up for the members that you now claim to care so much about.

It's obvious that you don't 'get it' and that speaks volumes about your character."
