NEWS FLASH !!! RE-AIRING TODAY OF FOX-TV’s “Morning Show with Mike and Juliet” featuring the KIMKINS DIET SCAM !!!

FOX-TV’s “Morning Show with Mike and Juliet," re-aired their feature on the Kimkins Diet Scam this morning (December 31, 2007).

And this is the byline for the show:

"One woman lost 100 pounds and that’s not all — you won’t believe what happened next! M&J take you inside the dangerous Kimkins diet that some call 'Atkins meets anorexia.'"

Let's hope the show was updated, advising viewers that Jeannie Baitinger (aka Tippy Toes) has since left Kimkins, and after being granted immunity, is now providing information to John Tiedt, the lawyer for the Plaintiffs in the class-action suit against Heidi Diaz/Kimmer.

If you missed the show's repeat this morning, you can view it in its entirety, plus read a transcipt of the show, by clicking on these links:

THE MAGIC CHICKEN DIET MAY NOT BE JUST ANOTHER FLASH IN THE PAN...(with a DELICIOUS UPDATE !!!)

Bloggers, YustYucky and the boys at Kimkins Exhausted, Mariasol, and HoneyBee have done some excellent digging and comprehensive analyses of their findings in their investigation of the Magic Chicken Diet and its founder, Bonnie Luper (aka Chicken Lady).

As the digging gets deeper, more and more delicious details are being exposed.

And now, in the past few days, the Ducky detectives at LCF have joined in the search for the truth, after being initially derailed by some slammers, and have come up with some very interesting and creative scenarios re the plausible connection between Kimkins and the Magic Chicken Diet, as well as the possible relationship between Kimmer/Heidi Diaz and Bonnie Luper and her husband, David Luper.

If you haven't seen a copy of the Chicken Lady's menu, Kimkins Exhausted (YustYucky) has it, so click here:

Mariasol did a great analysis of the Magic Chicken Diet here:

And HoneyBee has a great blog post on the Magic Chicken Diet:

And here, the LCF Detectives re-delve into the case of the Magic Chicken Diet (discussions start to heat up here and on the following pages of the Fascination thread):

Keep digging my friends. There may be a big golden egg at the end of the rainbow.

And Hulon Pate (Chicken Lady's son-in-law), if you read this, please leave a comment. I do so enjoy reading your posts. Ta.

AND NOW FOR THE DELICIOUS UPDATE:

It turns out that my main man, uber wordsmith, Hulon Pate, is NOT the son-in-law of Chicken Lady! Hulon, I'm SO disappointed in you.

I'm thinkin' that Hulon is Heidi, in drag. Yeah, I like that theory. I'm gonna stick with that one.

Check out GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH WITH PICKLE'S update here:

NEWS FLASH !!! ANOTHER CONTEST UPDATE !!!

Whirling Dervishes

I've been giving some thought today about all the people who have been madly posting anti-Kimkins comments on blogs and websites over the past few days, especially Kat who has been a virtual whirling dervish in her postings.

I hope everyone's hands and computers are both faring well. I'd hate to think this contest was responsible for anyone frying their computer and/or developing carpal tunnel syndrome. :^)

Over the past few days, I've received a few enquires about how the comments would be counted, as well as the length of the contest.

So this is the update:

Because it would be an arduous task for me to go through every blog and tally the posts, I will be relying solely on the counts that you provide to me.

Just indicate the total number of comments you have left on the blogs/websites you visited, as well as the name you used in posting those comments. Please ensure that you use the same name consistently in every post you make.

Because I feel that it is important to keep the momentum going, the contest will now terminate on Saturday, January 5th, 2008 at 12:00 noon (AST).

Before 12:00 noon (AST) on the 5th of January, please click on the first contest blog post here:

LET'S PLAY AN ONLINE GAME !!! PRIZE OFFERED !!!

and leave a comment indicating the total number of comments you left on the blogs/sites you visited, as well as the name you used in posting.

After I have counted up the results, the winner will be announced in the afternoon of January 5th, 2008.

NOTE:

If you know of someone who is posting anti-Kimkins comments on the blogs, please pass this update on to them. Thanks!

Good luck to everyone!

RED GREEN WRAPS UP HEIDI DIAZ !!!

My fellow Canadian, Red Green, has always surprised me with his very creative ideas for the many and varied uses of duct tape.

But he didn't cover them all.

So just imagine my utter delight and surprise when I came across these other excellent ideas, which I am posting here for your erudition and, perhaps, future application:

Bind your "girls" and...presto!...instant cleavage!

"Plumber's crack" a problem? (no offence intended to plumbers)

This photo provided by the Ashland Police Dept. shows Kasey G. Kazee, 24, of Ashland, Ky.,who was charged with first-degree robbery, according to Ashland Police Sgt. Mark McDowell. Kazee had his head wrapped in duct tape to conceal his identity when he tried to rob Shamrock Liquors last Friday. (Ashland Police Dept./AP Photo)

NOTE TO SELF: DON'T USE DUCT TAPE DURING MY NEXT HEIST

Why buy Spanx when you've got duct tape on hand?

Send that old chair out for reupholstering? No way, Jose!

Shoes keep slipping? Forget Dr. Scholl's

Use a big honkin' ball-gag on that lying, thieving, scamming Heidi Diaz/Kimmer???

Nah....just bring out the duct tape

MY HEART BROKE...

...WHEN I SAW THIS PICTURE:

While many, I know, will be offended by my posting of this picture of this poor woman, I am heartbroken for her. How terrible her life must be.

The rising tide of obesity in North America is now of epidemic proportions, with many morbidly obese men, women, and children desperately seeking ways to lose weight.

As a result of their desperation, many of these individuals turned to the Kimkins diet because of its earlier advertised claims of “there is no faster diet out there! None!, ” "Better than WLS (Weight-Loss Surgery)," and its lately revised claims of "less fat than Atkins, less carbs than South Beach, and faster weight loss than Weight Watchers."

What many people do not realize is that even a morbidly obese individual can starve to death while following the Kimkins diet. How? Because the Kimkins diet is a VLCD [very low calorie diet (defined as being less than 1200 calories daily for women and 1500 calories for men)].

Heidi Diaz/Kimmer, however, consistently recommended only 500 calories or less per day to her members at the Kimkins website. That is starvation, pure and simple.

The risks involved in following such a VLCD diet can be catastrophic. Just some of those risks are as follows:

  1. gallbladder disease;
  2. slowing of one's metabolism, causing the brain & central nervous system to stop working optimally;
  3. the breaking down of muscle and other lean body tissue;
  4. an imbalance in minerals and electrolytes;
  5. osteoporosis;
  6. anemia;
  7. irregular or lack of menstruation;
  8. lack of serotonin, leading to clinical depression; and
  9. deterioration in the condition of hair and nails, and hair loss.
On VLCDs, your metabolism slows down to a crawl and your body goes into starvation mode, thus using very few calories. As a result, individuals find themselves eating next to nothing, yet not losing a pound.

The Kimkins Exposed blogger wrote an excellent post on the Kimkins VLCD:

"Kimkins Sells Potentially Deadly Very Low Calorie Diet

    July 31, 2007

It’s exactly the message that resonates with millions of overweight and obese Americans: there is a diet that offers fast weight loss without gastric surgery, diet pills, special foods, exercise or supplements. The clincher is the claim that “there is no faster diet out there! None!”The carefully crafted message is tantalizing because it speaks to the yearning for instant gratification, a base natural desire in people.

Consider the cunning words chosen by Kimmer to persuade visitors to her homepage her diet is better than all the rest:

'Millions of overweight people think fast, permanent weight loss is
completely out of their reach. They’ve been told their entire lives they should be happy with slow 1-2 lb a week weight loss. How depressing and untrue!

What if I told you that you could lose weight at turbo speed? Experience natural appetite suppression? Would you be interested?

Don’t worry! No awful prepackaged foods. Forget about diet pills or risky surgery. The plan I’m talking about is all natural with everyday food.

It’s called Kimkins and was developed by me, Kimmer, in 2000 when I weighed a morbidly obese 318 pounds! In less than a year I lost 198 pounds and kept it off!

Are you getting excited yet? You should be!'

'Sure, there are other popular diets out there like Weight Watchers, Atkins, Nutrisystem, Jenny Craig and South Beach, but they only work up to a point before you quit in frustration with the slow weight loss and complicated rules. But not Kimkins! '

'So what do you think? Are you ready to experience for yourself what Kimkins can do for you? Now it’s your chance to be a weight loss success story! '

    Persuasive!

But, the big question is, is it true?

Let’s first begin with the serious problems with her line of reasoning to influence visitors and encourage them to join the site.

The underlying implication is that Kimkins is the best way to resolve what is one of our nation’s most serious health problems, obesity; faster than any other weight loss program.

If this were true, there would be a persuasive arguement using supportive evidence and endorsements from healthcare professionals.

The site and ‘Kimmer’ cite no supporting evidence, have no researchers or healthcare professionals to endorse her plan, and no one recommeding it as a healthful way to lose weight from within the medical or scientific community.

In both the pages which are publicly available, and those accessible by logging in, she carefully avoids any reference to hundreds of scientific studies published during the last three decades; all of which contradict her position. She could not pull even a single useful quote supportive of her diet, so the use of research is completely avoided.

Instead she relies on the trustfulness of those desperate to lose weight; she sets the stage for blind faith by not encouraging anyone to review evidence or to ask hard questions. In fact you will not be allowed to demand scientific evidence that her diet has merit or health benefit if you do join.

Such questioning is simply not tolerated. The claims made should make anyone suspicious, even those who have barely scraped through high school biology. Kimmer goes well beyond that level and not only implies her experience overrides scientific data, but even asserts that her plan is suitable for anyone, including all diabetics. [Exceptions in the site disclaimer include pregnant and lactating women and those with impaired kidney function]

Kimmer effectively shoves aside decades of published, controlled, randomized clinical trials comparing caloric intakes, macronutrient ratios, weight loss and risks associated with severe calorie restriction. Her justification for this omission is that she claims she culled out the ‘best of’ from Dr. Robert C. Atkins and Dr. Irwin Maxwell Stillman, both physicians and authors of popular diets.

But that’s nothing but sheer nihilism. Good recommendations are based on science, they’re cautious and skeptical, not permanently fixed based on an ‘n of 1’ proposition that ignores the fact that there is considerable evidence against Kimkins-like very low calorie diets being followed by free-living medically unsupervised individuals.

In fact, the evidence against using such an approach to losing weight is crushing in its abundance. By circumventing this mass of peer-reviewed literature readily open to public scrutiny in libraries and online, Kimmer insists you accept her personal experience, an experience which remains unverified.

It’s her word and you’re expected to take it and swallow it as if it were fact.

You are expected to accept without question the veracity of her statements, assertions or claims.

You are expected to look the other way and not seek data in your decision.

You are expected to buy into her claims and website with only your desire to believe that there is a diet that will work better than anything else out there today.

Like any other ‘fast weight loss’ scam, it’s no different in the claims made, no different in the emotional buttons Kimmer tries to hit in you.

But, unlike other diet plans sold to the overweight and obese, Kimkins comes with the added potential to maim or kill the unsuspecting and desperate who are ready to do anything to lose weight.

Don’t fall for the clever, crafty message! You’re smarter than that!"

Of course, we now know that Heidi Diaz/Kimmer did not lose 198 pounds in a year...in fact, she lost not one ounce of weight. She is a liar. Period.

Remember, VLCDs, like Kimkins, are like playing with dynamite. Be wary of any diet claiming to be low calorie/low fat/low carb. You'll never reach your goal weight because you'll be pushing up daisies long before then.

THE CROOK, THE THIEF, HER DIET & HER SCAM...

One film that is hard to forget is the 1989 dark comedy, The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover, written and directed by Peter Greenaway and starring, among others, the outstanding actress Helen Mirren, and the amazing Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs).

The film's title popped into my head as I was thinking of the heinous Heidi Diaz/Kimmer this morning, picturing her rubbing her hands together in glee as mountains of cheques, bank and credit-card payments started pouring in from unsuspecting people who had signed up to her dangerous Kimkins starvation diet plan after Christmas and New Year's. That thought just horrifies me.

And what is just as horrifying, given her penchant for thievery, is what she may do with the influx of credit card numbers and bank card/account numbers. Trust me on this...Heidi Diaz/Kimmer is not beyond identity theft.

So please warn one and all not to provide the Kimkins website with any credit/bank card numbers or personal cheques.

THE BIG REVEAL !!! THE KIMKINS POSTER GIRL IS....

    .....Crohnie !!!

Stop the presses! It's a landslide!

Public opinion has deemed that Crohnie is the Kimkins Poster Girl at Tippy Toes' Camp Carboway.

    NOT!!!

Let me begin by saying that even a trained monkey would have realized that many of the names on the poll were there JUST FOR FUN! I don't know Crohnie from a half-baked potato, but I've got to tell you, she's got a better sense of humor than some of her buddies.

My impeccable and indefatigable sources on the inside have informed me that the Kimkins Poster Girl has made NO posts, NOT ONE, since "joining" Tippy's camp in the first few days of its infancy...which leads me to believe that there was a perfectly plausible reason for her name being on the membership roster.

It puts me in mind of when I had to register at the Eating Low with Amy forum in order to view Tippy's erudite posts before she was thrown out with the bath water by Amy.

And because the Poster Girl has held both her counsel and her voice on the forums, I cannot, in all good conscience, reveal her name.

Now, I know you're all heartbroken, disappointed, and extremely pissed with me. Well, join the ranks.

For your amusement, here are some of the comments I received from Crohnie's cronies:

    "you have lost your mind"

"I have never done Kimkins, never liked Kimmer, hate Tippy Toes. But if you seriously think Chronie is one of them, you have seriously lost your mind."

"Chronie - a Kimkins poster girl??? Not."

"If you think its Crohnie, you are insane. Stop badgering people who had nothing to do with Kimkins."

"What was the point of adding Crohnie? give me a break."

    And my personal favorite:

"You all are completly insane. Get a life you freakazoids."

Doncha know, girls just wanna have fun...

LET'S PLAY AN ONLINE GAME !!! PRIZE OFFERED !!!

With the New Year fast approaching, and waistbands cutting into our post-holiday expanded waistlines, there will be thousands of people who will be making a commitment to lose weight as one of their New Year's resolutions.

The fear of myself and my fellow anti-Kimkins bloggers is that those who decide to start a weight-loss program in the New Year will try the fastest method possible.

Because of the deadly Kimkins starvation diet's claim of having "less fat than Atkins, less carbs than South Beach and faster weight loss than Weight Watchers," those thousands may pay the $69.95 to join the Kimkins website.
What frightens me is that not only will those dieters be treading down that deadly path to starvation a la Kimkins, but they will also be providing the nefarious scam queen, Kimmer/Heidi Diaz, with their credit-card or bank information. Now that is a frightening thought.

    So this is my challenge:

There is a list of blogs in my post URGENT MESSAGE!!! BEFORE YOU SIGN UP WITH KIMKINS...

The person who posts the most comments on those blogs listed, warning people of the dangers of the deadly Kimkins diet and Heidi Diaz/Kimmer, will win a copy of Gary Taube's bestseller, "Good Calories, Bad Calories." The contest will end at 12:00 noon (Atlantic Standard Time) on Wednesday, January 16th, 2008.

That will be my little gift to you for spreading the word on the diabolical Kimmer/Heidi Diaz and her deadly diet, Kimkins.

I will arrange to have the book shipped to the winner directly from Amazon.com, so you will have to provide me with your name and mailing address. Have no fear...I would never disclose your personal information, even during a long session of water torture.

Now, how will I know how many comments you've posted without manually checking them myself?

I've given this some thought and will ask that you post your comments using a specific name (i.e. not "Anonymous"). The name you choose can be fictitious, but the name you choose must be used consistently in every post you make.

Before 12:00 noon (AST) on January 16, 2008, I would ask that you leave a comment on this blog post indicating the total number of comments you left on the blogs/sites you visited and the name you used in posting. I will then tally up the results.

At that time, I will announce the winner of Gary Taube's book, "Good Calories, Bad Calories: Challenging the Conventional Wisdom on Diet, Weight Control, and Disease."

To assist you, here again is a list of those blogs. The links are clickable:

WAS HEIDI DIAZ'S IDOL LINDA BURFIELD HAZZARD?

"In 1911 two wealthy British heiresses came to a sanitarium near Seattle to undergo the revolutionary fasting treatment of Linda Burfield Hazzard. It was supposed to be a holiday for the two sisters. But within a month of arriving at what the locals in Olalla, Wash., called "Starvation Heights," the women were emaciated shadows of their former selves, groaning in pain, waiting for death.

Dora and Claire Williamson had fallen into the hands of Dr. Hazzard, a woman of extraordinary evil and greed who would stop at nothing to achieve her ambitions."

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

If you know of anyone who is contemplating the deadly Kimkins starvation diet, please recommend that they visit this website and read the book, Starvation Heights, written by Gregg Olsen. It will give them insight into the devious mind and actions of Heidi Diaz (aka Kimmer):

WHICH KIMKINS POSTER GIRL IS A MEMBER OF CAMP CARBAWAY ???

    Pin-Up Girl: Girl Hunt Magazine
    Poster Girl: Girl Hunt Magazine

Given the widespread belief that Tippy and Heidi are still in cahoots (in spite of Tippy's denial to the contrary) and in light of Tippy's deletion of her blog and Fawn's blog cleansing, both which occurred this morning (and which adds, in my opinion, credence to the aforementioned widespread belief), you can't imagine the shock I felt at learning today of a certain Kimkins poster girl's membership at Tippy Toes' Camp Carbaway. I would have thought that this poster girl would have run as far away as she could from any future involvement with Tippy Toes.

I have put up a poll so that you can vote anonymously for which poster girl you think has joined Tippy's little campsite. You will find the poll on the right panel of my blog, so please vote now. Multiple votes are allowed.

In the meantime, if the Kimkins poster girl would like to contact me re her membership at Tippy's camp, I'd be delighted to hear from her.

IS SOMEONE PUTTING PRESSURE ON TWO BLOGGERS ???

(Painting by Gustave Dore: "Jacob wrestling with the Angel")

Two bloggers, Fighting in the Mud, and theTruth, have each suddenly had an epiphany. Ah, the miracles that occur during the Christmas season. It does my heart good.

Now, what would cause the mud-fighter to shut down his/her blog and thesupposedTruth to substantially soften his/her stance? Was it the feeling of goodwill towards their fellow man?

Or could it possibly be pressure from the lawyer, John Tiedt, and/or the principal participants in the civil lawsuit against
Heidi Diaz aka Kimmer and the Kimkins diet scam?

Here is Fighting in the Mud's final post:

    Adieu

I wanted to answer one of the comments that I got this evening. I was asked why I wasn’t posting comments. As I said in one of my earlier blog posts, I stopped posting the comments for several reasons. First of all, I didn’t want people tallying up the “fors” and “againsts”, and I was concerned that some of the posters might be identified by their words. Also, some used their normal “handles”, and some of them asked to not have their comments posted. Rather than agonize about what to post or not post, I decided after posting the first few that I would not post any.

Secondly, the same poster questioned my comments about my blog being compromised, and the poster said it was only “my” word that it had really happened. That is correct. It is only “my” word. I may be a lot of things, but a liar I am not.

I have decided that I have said all I can or should say about Kimkins. I had really hoped that it might start people thinking, but after seeing the “Fascination thread” today, I realize that it probably isn’t going to happen.

I want to close by addressing just one more issue. It’s been said so many times that if people had stopped questioning in thread one that there would be no lawsuit. That is true. It’s been said that if we had stopped digging and investigating in thread two that there would be no lawsuit. That is true. The same thing can be said for many of the threads that followed the first two.

The difference between what happened then versus what is happening now is that now there is a lawsuit to consider. In thread one, there was nothing to lose. Now that we are in thread twelve, there is a lot to lose.

I’ve said all I need to. Thank you again to the people who understood what I was trying to say, and to the others, I will borrow Jeanessa’s words, “Let the chips fall where they fall.”

I will leave the blog up for several more days, and I will then remove it.

One Last Package under the Tree

I removed the bulk of my last post after its overnight existance, out of a desire not to further stir the pot this holiday season. My opinions remain unchanged, but may be somewhat softer than were initially conveyed. I may or may not come back in my former capacity after the holidays but I am not making that decision today. I assure all I remain committed to truth and justice for all those that deserve to be dragged into their light. If I have a part to play, I'll try to do so.

I'll close with a plea that we all just get along for a few days and think inward to the things that are most important to us. Seriously, though, Happy Holidays to those of all faiths.

    Peace.

You are going to be charging people? Have you learned nothing?
    December 24, 2007 9:55 AM

Shelby, yes I have learned a lot. I have learned NOT to allow other people dictate to me what I should and should not do. I have learned that it does cost money to open and run a website. There are many fees you may not be aware of. Domain, LLC, accountant fees, and insurance are just to name a few. So before you get all carried away with worries thinking that I am about to make money think again. Breaking even would be nice.
Now, let me tell you another thing. This may come as a surprise to you and yours but I don't give a rats ass what you think. lol Had you not noticed that by now?

You know, I have no stake on either side of this debacle, but you might come off as more believable and sincere if you weren't so intent on blowing your horn. We get it. You think you're great. True greatness is evident when you don't have to tell everyone you are. This sort of self-aggrandizing just turns people off.

I am sorry you feel that way. It was a beautiful PM (*see the "beautiful pm"below) and I wanted to share it. I didn't write it. I did think it was nice to see something positive. And why would you say I think I am great? Because I won't back down from the bullies? Because I won't just go away? Because I won't say I am sorry when I am not? Because I will not let my heart get broken from slander? Because I can see through the BS and point it out right here?

The reason I say you think you are great has nothing to do with all those things you listed. It has to do with tooting your own horn, like I said in the original comment. publishing a 'love letter' to you is what is self-aggrandizing. It should be enough for you to have received it. It should have made you feel special. It cheapens it to take it public.Whether you have anything to say your sorry for, or back down from, would be something for you to know in your heart it's not for me to say.Again...Kimkins, LCF or any of the rest of the garbage means nothing to me. No animosity here, regardless if you wish to see some where none exists.I wish you success in whatever you chose to do in your life.

I am so sorry you felt that publishing this PM was a bad thing. I thought it would be nice to share a positive comment. If this offended you in any way, then for that I am sorry. I do know that misinterpretations do happen and I believe this to be one. So I am sorry if you did not see it at it was intended. However, thanks for visiting my blog and taking time to comment. AND HERE IS FAWN'S "BEAUTIFUL PM":

    "Dear Pocahontas [aka Tippy Toes],

I just wanna say, thank YOU for all you have done to help people. This site is WONDERFUL, loving, supportive and calming.

I want to thank you for inviting people to join your site and giving them time to adjust and bond with one another before the influx of people come in shortly.

Your site is just AMAZING and soothing... its like a safe haven if you will and I am sure I am not only speaking for myself, people are VERY happy here, girl you DONE GOOD!!!!! and you should be VERY PROUD of you as we ALL are.

Heather is one incredible person, she lends an ear, never judgemental, a heart of pure gold and kindness and VERY helpful and supportive. At first I was kinda afraid and shy to venture here, because not so many people like me because I will always be grateful for the K plan that started me on the course of low carb living and people on other sites are NOT so nice to be at all as you may or may not know... to be honest they were down right mean and agressive when they saw my name.... So I landed quietly in camp and before ya know it... I was posting away LOL. Heather helped me a lot in transitioning outside my box so to speak and I got an opportunity to bond with Heather as she helped me with my transition and kinda like letting me know that this site was a SAFE place and people would be nice to me here, etc. That help and bonding sincerely helped me out a LOT, there are no words to explain for real.

This is a WONDERFUL site and okay let me stop on this topic because I never thought it was possible for a site to be so friendly and nonjudgemental with such love and caring irregardless of what plan people are on... there is NO competition here, its just sharing and love and PEACE and okay I will stop before I start crying and chit LOL.... crying from JOY sincerely. Thank you for opening this site Tippy for real thank you. YOU are a GEM in an internet world of seemingly not so nice people sometimes. God Bless you and what You and your team are doing for people... its just WONDERFUL!

Tippy, I just wanna say I am so PROUD of youand MORE proud that the future price for new people to join is ONLY 19.95... thats AMAZING... I worried that was that enough to run a site.... I mean WOW... TRULY you CARE about peoples pockets and budgets .. I mean REALLY how GENEROUS you are to have such a LOW price.... I just cant thank you enough. Cearly the price shows that you are not trying to get rich by ANY means, instead the joining price shows a caring of Humanity and trying to make it available for even poor people and the working poor. wow..... there are NO words to thank you for what you are doing for people Tippy.

Congrats to you and your team and your generous heart... I just ... wow.

How do I really thank someone who is so SELF-LESS? that what I meant by WOW!

    huggies

and God Bless you and your team!

PercibleBertrum said...I've been looking for a diet to start this year. You seem so nice. Is everyone as nice as you in the kimkins? What is the difference between the Tippy and the Kimmer place? Is one better for the men?Thank you. Percible

    Dear Percible Bertrum,

Thank you for posting on my blog. I commend you for looking for a change of lifestyle in regards to healthier foods maybe and exercise, etc.

In regard to asking me is everyone as nice as you may believe I am, I can only speak from my personal experience, smiles. There are nice people on both sites who focus on the positive and support one another. I was kind of shy when I first got there but that was short lived, because then I got comfortable, smiles. It was more like they got used to me rather than me getting use to them because I have a tendency to type a lot :)

You asked me about the difference between the two sites:

One has been around longer, has a variety of plans available, even cycling between plans and is well established of course. The other website is new and yet is growing rapidly and has very friendly, bubbly people as well. They have several plans as well that are focused on low-carb living, for example the Atkins plan, south beach, etc.

Both offer a variety of information on various topics and not just about food. Both have a good and caring staff and members that we come to know and love and bond with. Both are very supportive no matter what plan you choose to participate in.

Is one better for the men? I believe that would be a personal choice.

Both sites are very supportive of people, regardless of gender, walk of life, color of skin and race, religion, etc. and both groups focus on the POSITIVE in their websites.

So maybe when you have an opportunity you can take a moment to visit both sites as a guest maybe and see for yourself.

I hope I have helped in some way and please understand that I tried to answer your questions to the best of my ability and experience.

I truly believe in my opinion that those two websites set the standard for other websites to follow in regard to "focusing on the POSITIVE and being Professional." Again thank you for coming by and posting.

FAWNING & KUDOS FROM TIPPYTOES & KIMMER

Well, a new blogger has emerged on the scene and her posts have warmed the cockles of my hardened heart. Her name is Fawn and she has been a steadfast and overly fawning admirer of both Kimmer/Heidi Diaz and TippyToes (Jeannie Baitinger). Her idolation of Kimmer has always been disturbing to me, but now she is spreading the love to TippyToes.

TippyToes, in previous posts on her blog, not only distanced herself from Kimmer and the Kimkins starvation diet, but has slammed Kimmer personally.

Reading the comments on Fawn's post below, it would appear that Kimmer and TippyToes are still sharing the same bed, while Fawn is playing both sides of the mattress:

Peace on the Internet by Fawn

My screen name known by many is Fawn (aka: Butterfly)

This morning I had an opportunity to post my Sincere and genuine feelings and beliefs on another site and I wanted to share it here because it is important to me because it focuses on the maturity and positive outlook of two special people: Kimmer and Tippy 12/24/07

Merry Christmas Eve everyone, and there is room for everyone so let's continue to be happy

As we celebrate the holidays approaching and the beginning of a New Year let us bask in the glow of one another successes and ventures

Yes one of our very cherished and supportive sisters, named Tippy, has ventured on her own and we are very happy and proud of her.

To me I view it like, when we help one another and soon they are able to bloosom on their own and we should be and continue to be happy for them and wish them the best in all their successes.

What I admire about Tippy is that she gives much credit to the Kimkins plan and supports people who continue on with the low carb lifestyle of several plans. Never a negative word on her site about anyone or any plan, instead it is just positive support and the goal of healthy and safe living, with much joy and happiness just like this loving and positive, supportive Kimkins site who just wants the best for everyone and embraces everyone with celebration and not a negative word about anyone.

I am VERY proud of this site and hers as well because these are very mature people that focus on the "positive" on their sites. So I raise my low carb chocolate shake this morning in loving honor to the very caring, positive, mature and supportive people: Kimmer and Tippy who both want the best for people in this great big world, where each person has their own style and there is room for everyone.

To me, in my opinion, the Kimkins plan is special and it started me on the road of low carb eating and has taught all of us very much and helped us embrace the real us inside to come out and experience FREEDOM and for many of us, a joy for life for the first time in a long time and I will always be grateful to our Kimmer for creating the Kimkins plan that helped set so many free from a life of obesity and I know from personal experience.

It is pretty scary out there, and people arent so nice sometimes in other websites, but like a den mother to so many, Kimmer never said don't go here or there, she never tried to hoard, instead she embraced and supported us having friends elsewhere as well that we visit and hang out with. Kimmer leaves the light on for people and people embrace it.

We are blessed to have two positive sites from both of them, Kimmer and Tippy, with their own unique styles, sharing and positive attitude and acceptance of people, with the goal in mind to help others. I never thought that was possible as the internet seems to be a competitive market so to speak, but there is a peace and maturity from these two people like no other. We are very lucky indeed.

So let's continue to be happy for one another as we venture forth into the new year of 2008 with a positive, friendly outlook and embrace the joy and celebration of life in this huge world where there is room for everyone

Remember: It is allllllllll about having a positive and loving and caring attitude

Thank you all for reading this post and wishing you all much happiness in your endeavors and life.

A strong woman PROUD of her journey....Grammar Correction*
Will I always be PROUD of Kimmer and Tippy with their Maturity Levels?
    Of course I will.

They both have websites but yet they focus on the positive and in MY opinion, they set the EXAMPLE of how POSITIVE websites should be.

Both their websites of supportive. I have never seen either one of them say an unkind word about the other on their websites nor would they allow it. Instead they are happy for one another and both have the same goal to help people as much as possible and they both embrace positive affirmations on their websites.

Again it is my view and belief that I have never seen two websites focus on so much positivity no matter what plan a person is on. They are both accepting, loving and nurturing websites and as competitive as websites are and can be.... these two wonderful women are NOT.

Each has their own style, nobody is trying to copy anybody or anything like that. Instead they respect and give each other space and wish each other well and focus on the people in a positive, supportive and kind manner of Uplifting people!

Yes, they set the standard of living in peace on the internet and I pray other websites will follow the Wonderful EXAMPLE set by these two wise women: Kimmer and Tippy.
