So much has happened

Since my last post, there has been so much happening in the kimkins controversy and in my personal life. First I feel it is very important that I say something here about the current state of my health. I've had to finally breakdown and make an appointment with my doctor. I can no longer ignore the rapid thinning of my hair hoping it will stop soon, or the fatigue that I am feeling. I have fibromyalgia, and its so easy for me to just put the fatigue off as a symptom of my previous condition. I have begun having chest discomfort, I am not going to say pain, but enough to finally get me moving to my doctors office to get a complete checkup. I intend to bring with me a copy of the basic diet and let my doctor know that my calorie intake rarely got above 300 for a whole day, and was quite often as low as 200. I will be sure to post something in regards to my doctors visit next week.

Jeannie Baitinger, TippyToes is now known as "The Former KimKins PR Director". She made a rather loud splash as she leaped out of the pool a few days ago. I am by no means anyone 'in the know', I merely follow this saga and participate in the lawsuit. I do read as much on LCF as I can, but have little time to follow up with all the posts around the net. What I do know is that Jeannie has her own reasons for leaving, some speculate that it was the lies about her pay cut that finally opened her eyes. Personally I don't care why she left, I merely care that she did leave, and hope that she will provide the Attorney with whatever information she has that will be useful in the suit.

Around the same time, a day or so before Jeannie took a leap out of the sinking ship, Singinglass seemed to be dipping her toes into the waters of LCF and was met with some pretty nasty hostility. I will not say that it was unfounded, SL certainly could have done more to alleviate some of it, such as being honest in answering some questions that were directed to her. She chose to only respond with more rhetoric in regards to the alleged phone harassment and death threats she says she received some months ago. I'm positive this post is read by me and me alone, however, I would like to offer SL some encouragement. You did put out feelers, you seemed to really be looking for a place to go, get in touch with someone, perhaps another forum will open the door for you, LCF may not be the best place to go. Take a lesson from TT's error however and be honest with who you are, do not come into a forum where those who were abused and bannded by you (yep I'm sure it was you that banned me) and pretend to be one of us... you are NOT one of us..but you can certainly help in the healing process if you choose to.

Carolina Girl also commented, as follows:

"...I truly hope that my experience can help to keep even one person from starting, or encourage just one person to walk away and begin seeking a healthy way of eating."

Please keep us informed, Carolina Girl, on the status of your health. All the best to you, and thank you again for letting me quote your blog post.
