PRO-ANA / PRO-MIA: LA DANSE MACABRE

pro ana

"Ana's Last Night"

Lying here hungry ...
My whole body in pain ...
Should probably eat something ...
But I feel too ashamed ...

Starting to shiver now ...
Beginning to shake ...
God how I love this ...
How my body just aches ...

Got up for some cold water ...
Then to take a cold shower ...
Remind myself that soon ...
I'll be a delicate flower ...

Did 3 hours exercise ...
But I must do some more ...
Still got one pound to loose ...
Like the pound I lost before ...

Whoa, got a dizzy head rush ...
Colors dancing all around me ...
Like little tiny faerie angels ...
Wanting to set me free ...

Oh wow, I'm floating with them ...
Going high up in the sky ...
I finally made it! ...
To the thinness that is I ..."

What is PRO-ANA?

"Pro-ana refers to the promotion or support of anorexia nervosa as a lifestyle choice rather than an eating disorder. It is often referred to simply as "ana" and is sometimes affectionately personified by anorexics as a girl named Ana." (from Wikipedia)

What is PRO-MIA?

"Pro-mia is the belief that bulimia nervosa is a lifestyle choice rather than an illness."

This belief, along with pro-ana, has been criticised for creating an environment in which those suffering from eating disorders might not seek treatment. Pro-mia supporters respond that they do not recognise bulimia nervosa as a disorder worthy of treatment but much like any social activity which, taken to extremes, can cause physical and psychological harm. They argue that although some of the pro-bulimia/anorexia sites promote the conditions in a positive way, the majority of them are a place where individuals can cope or share their pain with one another.

"Thin Commandments **

If you aren't thin, you aren't attractive

Being thin is more important than being healthy

You must buy clothes, cut your hair, take laxatives, starve yourself, do anything to make yourself thinner

Thou shall not eat without feeling guilty

Thou shall not eat fattening foods without punishing oneself afterwards

Thou shall count cals and restrict intake accordingly

What the scales say is the most important thing

losing weight is good, gaining weight is bad

You can never be too thin

Being thin and not eating are true signs of willpower and success"

THE PRO-ANA/PRO-MIA LINK TO KIMKINS

The starvation experienced by persons with anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa can cause damage to vital organs such as the heart and brain. Pulse rate and blood pressure drop, and people often experience irregular heart rhythms or heart failure. Nutritional deprivation causes calcium loss from bones, which can become brittle and prone to breakage.

In the worst-case scenario, people with anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa starve themselves to death. These conditions kill up to six percent of their victims.

Many people who followed the Kimkins starvation diet developed serious eating disorders, ultimately becoming pro-ana and/or pro-mia.

Two of the most prominent people who suffered disordered eating as a result of the Kimkins diet are Christin Sherburne and Deni Huttula, the two women featured in Woman's World magazine when that "magazine" (term used loosely) did a cover story on the deadly Kimkins Diet.

Since the publication of the magazine, both Deni and Christin have left Kimkins and reported the following potentially deadly effects they suffered, and continue to suffer, as a result of following the Kimkins diet:

From Deni:

"Kimmer's words in response to questions about people who think Kimkins is proana:

'Low Calories/Pro Ana We are low calorie after ketosis kicks in or with the shake option, but those calories are identical to post-WLS patients (500 cal a day for months), original Optifast and Medifast (450-700 cal a day for months). I don't think we can fight the '1200 calorie a day mentality'. Some people cannot understand that your body takes the calories it needs from body fat if the calories you eat are too low to sustain current weight. If you need 2500 calories (250 lb person) and eat 500 (number picked for easy math), the other 2000 are taken from body fat. In Jimmy's interview I meant what I said about take a Weight Watcher or Jenny Craig meal and remove the starches. What's left? Kimkins. There is no health advantage to adding carbs or extra fat, so why is removing them (and having less calories)
dangerous? 1200 calories a day is an arbitrary number (like 8 glasses of water). Anorexia is a psychological disorder.
Do we have people with ED on Kimkins? Of course. I weighed 318 pounds and you don't get that big without an improper relationship with food so I have an ED. But low calories aren't an ED, otherwise all of the WLS patients would be medically classified anorexic.' (bolding mine)

"I have seen Kimmer on NUMEROUS occasions tell people to eat less, even when they were eating less than 800 calories a day. She personally recommended to me when I started to stick to ranges between 600 and 800, and to drop to closer to 500 if I stalled. This is what Kimkins is... there is no way you can possibly stick to the "rules" of the plan and end up with more than 800 calories on a regular basis."

~ and ~

"Here's my side effects:

1. extra periods (told this was normal)

2. loss of hair ... loss of about 60% of my thickness if not more. (told it was normal, and even looked it up online for myself! Saw that it said it was common in people who were dieting and skimmed over the part that said "fad diets" or nutritionally deficient diets.)

3. Lightheaded dizzy spells- never mentioned these to anyone .. they were not an everyday occurrence, and I had them sometimes prior to this diet so I easily ignored them.

4. Weird blurred vision- like my eyes would dilate at different degrees... things would get fuzzy and look far away and warped.. I would then readjust my own "focus" and a few minutes later it was back to normal. Again.. I didn't mention it.. figured it was a fluke.. it only happened a few times.

5. heart flutters- never mentioned these to anyone either. Even when they happened, I dismissed them in my mind as quickly as I could. (these are still happening randomly)

Other strange things I noticed:

6. Peanut butter CRAVINGS... like really super cravings... and I knew I wasn't the only one having this. I read post after post after post about people who were feeling guilty for giving into peanut butter or any kind of nuts. So, I wrote this off as "normal"

7. Milkshake CRAVINGS... again.. these cravings were much stronger than any craving I'd ever had before dieting. I heard lots of other people also talk about craving milkshakes, including my mom who also did the diet.

both of these "cravings" were something that I, along with many others, chalked up to a strange coincidence, and I either ignored it.. or caved in a little and then felt extremely guilty about it.
Now, I'm really wondering if there is something in the peanut butter(nuts) and milk shakes that our bodies were SCREAMING for!!! Like maybe more fat? Calcium?

I often typed in "listen to your body" over and over again in posts.. and it wasn't until late August that I started to realize that even cravings were a way that our body tells us what it needs.

Anyway... I still don't know if there's anything wrong with me or not.. my doctor has ordered lots of tests to see where I'm "depleted" of certain things, and warned me strongly that while being extremely overweight isn't good for your health, or for you heart... that sometimes losing it all super fast and not getting all the nutrients necessary for bodily functions.. is an even quicker route to heart disease.

So, now I'm wondering.. where inside Kimkins does it list "possible side effects"? Where is the "warning label", the "if these symptoms arise, get it checked out announcement" ?
With EVERY weight loss pill or plan that I've ever been on, there has been a warning list.. and a "common side effects" or even "in extreme cases side effects" list.. that I always read. I know myself.. and I just about always choose NOT to take medicines that have side effects that concern me. If I had been warned about these things, I don't think I would have joined. If I had been warned about the possibility of these things, I certainly would not have convinced others to join!

The sad part really is, is that I didn't realize that I wasn't the only one with these symptoms until I started reading OFFSITE.I hated reading those "other forums" because they made everything sound so bad. They made me feel bad, and they exaggerated things so much. But, the symptoms they mentioned sounded vaguely familiar to me. They knotted up my stomach, and made me want to either fight or run away and pretend I never heard what they said.
I saw some try to fight them....
and I resorted to my usual, curl up and ignore it technique for awhile.

If I did mention my worries to others inside Kimkins I only got pats on the back and reassurances that of course everything would be fine, and "that's normal, don't worry!"

And NOW.. it's even worse.. if you even ask about a negative effect, you're likely to be "accused" of stirring up the pot, or if you point out your negative side effects, you're likely to get banned. :(
How is that safe for other members??? Shouldn't everyone be made aware of symptoms to be on the look out for? I'm sure there are lots more negative effects that I didn't have... and from the stories I've heard elsewhere.. I can only count myself lucky.

This is not a joking matter, this is not time for a "band-aid" announcement that "of course, you should always check with your doctor". Or even comments to make those of us who "ignored symptoms" appear stupid or crazy or "extreme". This is time to get real and time to take your health seriously.

How many of you truly talked to your doctors about your plan?

Did you show him the food list?

Did you mention that you really only eat a few items on that list?

Did you show him your fitday?

Did you write symptoms off as normal because you heard someone else had the same thing?

I said that one of the reasons why I wanted to lose weight was because I wanted to be here long enough to see my kids and future grand kids grow up.

Now, it's possible that losing weight has lowered the chances of that actually happening.

I remember when we often joked about how Kimkins didn't need that little small print disclaimer of "results not typical" on our success stories.

Perhaps she does need to put up a disclaimer that "results ARE typical" on the side effects listing!!!

If you're still doing Kimkins, as written or not... please stop for awhile and really take a look at your own symptoms. Don't glorify your "pros" list and minimize your "cons" list.

You can get those "pros" with lots of safe plans, and eliminate the cons. Just think about it. And don't ignore the promptings of your heart right now." (all bolding mine)
~~~~~~~~~~
From Christin:
"The diet program is unsafe and can cause severe damage beginning with slow, unrecognized starvation and malnutrition.
Through the next few months, the dangers of this program became increasingly evident as more members began complaining of the same symptoms and side effects. Slow and steady starvation methods utilizing a caloric intake of significantly less than 1000 calories a day was the norm. The daily intake of less calories and less fat was not only encouraged, but praised as new members began to feel “snatty” (Slightly Nauseous All The Time), lightheaded, and generally weakened. Tips for controlling hunger varied but all were primarily synonymous with little to no caloric intake. All for the sake of losing weight fast. But at what cost to the individual’s physical and psychological condition?
Disguised eating disorders emerged; serious malnutrition indicators like hair loss, heart palpitations, electrolyte and potassium deficiencies were commonly reported. I did not learn of the potentially deadly side effects of my eating habits till after I completed the program. I had shrugged the symptoms that I had off as “typical” or short term.
Bottom line, starvation works to take off pounds – here, just like in Ethiopia or Dachau. The difference is that in those sad places, the people knew they were starving. Kimkins moderators are merely overweight peers with eating disorders of their own (speaking from personal experience), completely unqualified to assess what constitutes nutritional dangers.
Do not let the tantalizing beauty of rapid weight loss hinder the ultimate goal of a better life and good health.
There are many effective and safe weight loss programs out there today. Diet responsibly; do your research; always remember to speak with your physician regarding your plans. Do not desperately trade obesity for broken health."
Ana Psalm **
Strict is my diet.
I must not want.
It maketh me to lie down at night hungry.
It leadeth me past the confectioners.
It trieth my willpower.
It leadeth me in the paths of alteration for my figure's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the aisles of the pastry department, I will buy no sweet rolls for they are fattening.
The cakes and the pies, they tempt me.
Before me is a table set with green beans and lettuce.
I filleth my stomach with liquids,
My day's quota runneth over.
Surely calorie and weight charts will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the fear of the scales forever.
Ana Creed **
I believe in Control, the only force mighty enough to bring order to the chaos that is my world.
I believe that I am the most vile, worthless and useless person ever to have existed on this planet, and that I am totally unworthy of anyone's time and attention.
I believe that other people who tell me differently must be idiots. If they could see how I really am, then they would hate me almost as much as I do.
I believe in oughts, musts and shoulds as unbreakable laws to determine my daily behavior.
I believe in perfection and strive to attain it.
I believe in salvation through trying just a bit harder than I did yesterday.
I believe in calorie counters as the inspired word of god, and memorize them accordingly.
I believe in bathroom scales as an indicator of my daily successes and failures
I believe in hell, because I sometimes think that I'm living in it.
I believe in a wholly black and white world, the losing of weight, recrimination for sins, the abnegation of the body and a life ever fasting.
Ana Prayer **
Forgive me Ana for I have sinned. It has been 30 seconds since my last confession.
I am weak, fat, and not worthy of such support.
I am ready to fall. I pray, please make me thin, tiny, non-existent.
Take me away from food, block it out.
I pray please for your guidance, for your firm voice to ring out in my head.
Yell at me please. Scream!
Keep me alone and away from the cupboards.
Help me to stay strong.
Be with me always and I will not forsake you.
Guard me from eating, committing sin against you.
I should rather than suffer than sin for there is strength in suffering.
Ana, I love you, please make me thin.
~~~~~~~~~~

Please, if you recognize pro-ana, pro-mia, or any other disordered-eating behaviour in any of your friends or loved ones, please notify their family immediately. It could mean the difference between life and death.

UPDATES ON CHRISTIN SHERBURNE & FAMILY...

MOST RECENT UPDATE from CarolynF @ LCF (January 5, 2007):

"Christin update:

It seems that she had a very long of nausea, dry heaves and alot of pain. There is still some swelling in the brain, which they said is normal for this type of injury.Then her mom wrote:

'We are now in a room and she is stable. She just needs a little more healing. Keep praying, ladies and gents.'"

UPDATE from CarolynF @ LCF (January 5, 2007):

"Update from Christin's mom at Jimmy's"

'from my phone...went home last night...this a.m. much worse, non stop nausea & pain... readmitted...brain swelling & bleeding... I thnk she will be ok...keep praying.'"

UPDATE from CarolynF @ LCF (January 3, 2007):

"Here's a picture of Christin's car..Her head hit the window.."

UPDATE from dhuff81096 @ LCF (January 3, 2007):

"Update on Christin from Melana (her mom) at Jimmy's site:

'Good morning friends,

Christin is much better this morning mentally. She has been able to read for herself your notes of concern, and is very coherent. She's talked on the phone some, and even typed a few emails.

I think we are into the healing time. The pain is a significant factor, but she is coping well.

Thank you again. I'll post again after the doctor is in.

Melana.'"

UPDATE from CarolynF @ LCF (January 2, 2007):

"More news from Christin's mom:

'Becky, thank you for writing a good report. I am grateful for the compassion and love pouring out of these wonderful people.

Christin is about the same. She will respond when I talk directly to her, but does not remember what I say.

I am reading to her all of the posts, and I am asking her if she remembers each individual. The drs. want me to try to make her think and respond, so these words of prayer and love are "good medicine." (I can get online here in her hospital room.)

Brian is home, and the kids are at his sister's.

Thank you again, and thanks to everyone in the lowcarb world. I am using EVERYONE's prayers and encouraging words to try to help her focus and respond.

Melana'"

FURTHER UPDATES this afternoon from dhuff81096 @ LCF:

"Update about Christin from Deni (on Jimmy's site):

You all need to continue praying... it's not as "all okay" as it seems. Becky will post an offical update soon. Just keep praying for Christin... she will not be released today... that was misinformation."

"Posted by Becky at Jimmy's site:

I spoke at length with Melana, Christin's mom. Things are generally OK, but not all good.

The family was in a fairly new car, highly rated for safety, with lots of good safety features like air bags all around.

The kids are OK, but banged up and bruised and scared.

Brian is more banged up, had a severe concussion, but remained alert and aware, and will probably be discharged today.

Christin is in worse shape. It took them 20 minutes to cut her from the vehicle.

She has no broken bones or apparent internal injury, although her heart and lungs were badly bruised.

Her face is severely bruised, swollen, and cut up, especially around the right eye. She has a long cut through the tear duct and lash line. Her vision is expected to be fine, and they will plan for surgery to repair the damage around the eye once the swelling from her injuries subsides.

Her head took the worst of it. She is drifting in and out of consciousness, and in a lot of pain.
When she is awake, she knows who is with her, and responds to them.

However, she keeps asking the same questions, about how her family is, each time she is awake. Her short-term memory is not good right now. Apparently, that is normal for this type of injury. It may take a while before she is herself again. With time and care, though, she is expected to make a good recovery. "

We'll keep you posted...

Updates on the conditions of Christin and family from PamB and dhuff81096 on LCF:

"Someone at Jimmy's posted this:

Ok, through a mutual local friend I have heard that Christin and Brian are both in stable condition at the same hospital, and the kids have been released to her sister Kim and are at home. Apparently they were on their way home from a family event and had a three car collision involving a rollover (not sure if it was them that rolled). Christin is pretty banged up, but no broken bones for either of them. Neither remembers what happened or who was at fault or anything..."

"Just heard that they are expecting to be released today. Banged up but otherwise okay. Apparently they were life-flighted because they were in a rural area and needed to get to the hospital quickly..."

Thanks for the updates, PamB and dhuff81096.

Great to hear Christin and family are expected to be released from the hospital today. May they all have a speedy recovery.

I don't know if I can pm on my phone. thank you.'"

Christin, for those who may not know, was the cover girl on the Woman's World magazine, who not only lost a substantial amount of weight on the Kimkins starvation diet but also her health, suffering from heart arrhythmia, chest pains, and esophageal spasms, among other things, as a result of the Kimkins diet. Christin renounced the Kimkins diet and is now on a mission to warn everyone of its deadly effects.

Christin recently appeared on The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, denouncing the deadly Kimkins diet and its founder, Heidi Diaz/Kimmer.

FOX-TV’s “Morning Show with Mike and Juliet," re-aired their feature on the Kimkins Diet Scam this morning (December 31, 2007).

And this is the byline for the show:

"One woman lost 100 pounds and that’s not all — you won’t believe what happened next! M&J take you inside the dangerous Kimkins diet that some call 'Atkins meets anorexia.'"

MORE SHOTS FIRED !!!

In her blog post on LCF last night, ANIPOMONI, fires a round and Deni takes a direct hit:

I know you all only want to look at her "angry" words... but I don't think it's fair to only look at someone's anger when they are trying to express themselves in a fair and balanced way. She isn't one sided and mean here.. she is pointing out the negatives AND the positives at LCF...................

I (and BEcky too for that matter) appreciate all the exposing that you have done. I know how hard you all have worked...

I've watched it play out right here on this board. But some of you may not realize that sometimes things need to stay BEHIND the scenes in order to actually accomplish things legally. Tipping of the enemy is not always the best game plan.

And when someone points out that you (the Fascination thread heros) aren't above reproach yourselves.. the first reaction is to poke fun at them and laugh at the idea that she might have a tiny bit of truth in her statements."

[ANIPOMONI]:
"I hate to say it like this, but in the grand scheme of things, you guys really didn't do much. Nothing positive anyway. You lent credibility to a fraudulent and unhealthy diet (unintentianally of course), you drove business into Heidi's pocket. If it wasn't for people here, you would probably still be on kk. Actually, if people here stopped searching for the truth every time someone wrote something negative about LCF in their journal, we probably wouldn't have gotten 5 pages in on the #1 Fascination thread.

I even remember one of you complaining of not getting all the $$ you were entitled to for affiliate leads. This was AFTER the fraud. Uhhh...hello? It's money from a fraud, why would you want it? Is that the Christian thing?

But no one brings this stuff up, because everyone here is truly not as mean as they are portrayed. Umm...except me I guess.

And don't count me as one of the "you" here. Because I am not. I am way too blunt and don't do much but lurk here (and sit on my fingers), so my views and especially the way I say them, should in no way reflect anyone here. They are all much nicer than me. "

[ANIPOMONI]:

"Don't forget that people here were attacked at every single, solitary point on this journey. From the very beginning we were haters because we were questioning the pictures. If we (I am including myself here even though I did nothing) just backed away b/c someone said something nasty in her journal.....well, a lot of people would still be following (and working for) kimkins.

[and now I really have to catch up]

ETA: Ok I really should read on before I respond. Just read cleo's post and she totally said what I meant...but much better"

FOR CLARITY'S SAKE, HERE IS AWAKENED'S ORIGINAL POST ON LCF:

"I am probably going to regret this, but I feel that I have to say something on this whole Becky discussion.

What you may not realize is that this whole discussion is only making her words seem more true to anyone who isn't "one of you".

Her words were written ... IN HER JOUNRAL. Isn't she entitled to an opinion? Isn't she entitled to feeling angry at times or hurt or even just plain old grumpy sometimes? In the very first sentence of this "post in question" she said she was upset with LCF people for being "PART" of driving the site out of business. She didn't blame you all for taking it down.. she was mad because you all "directed" Kimmer to it. Obviously none of you knew that Kimmer was going to go and get it shut down.. and obviously none of us knew that KImmer's "reach" wasn't going to last long.

Becky is very mad at KIMMER... and on this particular day you all played a part in giving Kimmer something to get a hold of.

Becky also pointed out that the FAscination thread "has done a lot of good work". She also pointed out that she appreciates the value of the Fascination thread and the good intentions and contributions of many people there.

I know you all only want to look at her "angry" words... but I don't think it's fair to only look at someone's anger when they are trying to express themselves in a fair and balanced way. She isn't one sided and mean here.. she is pointing out the negatives AND the positives at LCF.

She doesn't say she wants the Fascination thread gone. She points out the fact that LCF has the original "HOW TO DO KIMKINS" thread there, and that people are still USING KIMKINS here. I know you all have a problem with that too don't you?

She points out that sometimes you all make remarks about people who are "innocent" in this matter. Can you honestly say that you have never said a rude comment about someone OTHER than Kimmer just to be funny? I think we have all been guilty of doing that at times, and it's wrong to excuse it and think it's okay to hurt someone's feelings "just because".

Becky constantly comes back to the point that KIMMER is the real problem here. Kimmer is who we are after. (we all agree on this right?)

She also has a very valid point in mentioning that SOMETIMES the "WAY" in which this thread goes after or ridicules anyone involved with this whole Kimkins debacle can get out of hand. And whether you would like to believe it or not... more often than not, it's the unneccessary comments that turn MANY people away from listening to your very VALID comments.

I for one can speak for myself in saying that while I was still at Kimkins.. and was totally ignorant about all of the fraud and lies and even unhealthiness... I saw this Fascination thread as a major turn off. I was insulted and disgusted by the tone that this thread often takes. And because I saw "ugliness" I was easily able to right off any "logic" and "truth" that came up inbetween personal stabs.

If it weren't for Becky, I NEVER would have considered that anything written on this site might have some truth to it. And Kimmer knows this. She plays it very well. She feeds the fire and then uses it to her benefit.

I think THIS fact is what Becky was really mad at deep inside. She has watched Heidi USE your tactics for HER benefit over and over again. And it's still happening.I know that you all are caring, strong, and very committed women. I know now that your intentions are the same as mine. (Get Kimkins shut down and Heidi in jail!) But it hurts me to see the way that you all still refuse to admit that you might be stepping on some toes along the way.

And when someone points out that you (the Fascination thread heros) aren't above reproach yourselves.. the first reaction is to poke fun at them and laugh at the idea that she might have a tiny bit of truth in her statements.

The saddest part for me, is that I'm actually shaking before hitting the SUBMIT button, because I know that this post might get some of you to say things about me that will hurt my feelings.

I just wish it didn't have to be this way."

AND TOOTER'S POST ON LCF:

"I am Sorry, Awaken, but I don't agree with you.

I don't think Becky is the Enemy and I don't think anyone else here thinks that. I Think she used poor judgement and was hurtful to the very people who saved her butt. I think the other thing that bothers people about this whole thing is that we were to be silent about it. Just like people were with Kimmer. Becky's post came through as "Do As I say and Not as I do".

You don't Vent in a Journal that is public and expect not to offend the people you are talking about. If you truly want something private, you do it in private. Not on a public board. She should have had a private Journal to do her venting.

Then when 2Big4Mysize went to her and tried to reason with her on how it sounded to everyone...She excused and justified her own behavior and people in her own thread were "Yes" people and "Haters" again. Jumped all over 2Big4Mysize. Brings back alot of Kimmer memories for all of us.

As I said before in this thread, Everyone gets burned out, and everyone has said things that they shouldn't at those times. And I do mean "EVERYONE".

The difference is, I see alot of apologies in this thread. I see nothing from Becky.

In the scheme of things, this will be old news by next week. People will still work with her. They just might not have the respect that they once had.That's her choice. If she wants to preach a "Standard" the first thing she must do is live by that Standard.

I think the biggest thing that is upsetting everyone on here and in the Blogs is that She is allowed to say whatever she wants, but we aren't. She's not the hater, WE are.

To people who actually fought for the truth Long before she got involved, that's a huge smack in the face. To say we can't react to that, is another.

Like I said, this will be old news in a few days. The choice is hers in how this all will be remembered."

TIPPYTOES DOES A TURNAROUND? CROCODILE TEARS?

Yesterday, in a post on her blog, The Journey, Christin, who was the covergirl on the Woman's World magazine feature on the Kimkins starvation diet, reports that she was contacted by TippyToes (Jeannie Baitinger):

"This weekend I have communicated with the now former PR director of Kimkins, Jeannie Baitinger. She expressed to me her great grief over her involvement with Heidi Diaz.

The following is an excerpt from a note she left me this morning:

'I was wrong to accuse you of any wrong doings. In fact, I can never apologize to you enough. You did say you forgive me and that means more to me than anything.'

'I will do everything I can to cooperate fully with John Teidt and that is a promise.'

'Your warmth and generosity really is amazing. I never expected you of all people to be there for me, yet there you were. I didn't deserve it at all… I was wrong, so wrong.'" (bolding mine)

SO HOW'S THAT KIMKINS DIET WORKIN' FOR YOU, HEIDI?

Not very well, I'd say.

Take a gander at the most recent picture of Heidi Diaz (aka Kimmer aka a million other aliases), founder of the scamulous Kimkins Diet, taken during her deposition re the civil suit on November 12th, 2007.

So much has been happening lately related to Heidi Diaz and the Kimkins Diet scam that you'd have to blog full time just to keep up with the daily developments.

Fortunately, there are more dedicated bloggers than me out there who do keep their blogs up to date, so to catch up on the latest goings-on with Heidi/Kimmer/Kimkins, check out these wonderful blogs:

Another ex-Kimkinite shares her story...

Tonight, on LCF, jcrc1312, who left Kimkins this week, posted about her realization that Kimmer/Heidi is a fraud.

Here is her story:

"a day late and a dollar short
Hello again. It's been a short while since I've posted here. Last time here, I was very pro-Kimkins. And I was angry at what I was reading here. I asked to be removed from this forum, and they kindly "unregistered" me.Long story short...I've changed my tune, come to my senses, smartened up....When I saw those PI pix, I just knew in my heart, it was HER. That was tough for me to swallow. But I told myself it was okay, I can still use the plan cause it works for me. I continued to lurk here and other places, and it all finally started to sink in. I can't explain it, why I couldn't accept the truth. I kept trying to "make it work" in my head. I finally admitted to my dh that my hair is falling out, and has been for about 6 months. So far, that is the only side effect I have experienced. I emailed Christin, and she is such a beautiful and caring person, and it all fell into place. I got in touch with a couple of other ex-kimkinites. And it really is a difficult process to remove yourself from the mindset. It all finally came crashing down the other night at the Kimkins site when Wonderwoman started spouting off. I was there, watching it happen. And again, another lightbulb moment...I knew that it was HER. I was typing my response when the screen went blank, and the whole thread was deleted.I wanted so badly to chat with someone, I was livid! And of course I had burned my bridge here. I have since repented and the admins here kindly reinstated my priveleges. So here I am. I am not very outspoken. But I apologize for being so hard-headed, and thinking so badly of everyone here. You have done an awesome job of getting the word out that KK is not a healthy diet. And SHE is just beyond words! I felt sorry for her at first, but no more. This has got to STOP.Anyway, thanks for listening. And again, I'm sorry for being so judgemental of everyone here. You were right...all along. I'm just glad that I finally came to my senses. JC"

We're so glad, jcrc1312, that you discovered the truth and left the darkness that is Kimkins and Kimmer/Heidi Diaz. Thanks so much for sharing your story. All the very best to you.

Becky weighs in re Kimmer/Kimkins with Part 2 of The Perfect Storm

In her blog, Becky (formerly employed by Kimkins) has today posted Part 2 of The Perfect Storm.

It's a wonderful, revealing read, especially in view of the fact that Becky was an insider at Kimkins before all hell broke loose.

Here's Part 2 (Part 1 follows Part 2 in her blog, Winning Weight Loss):

Kimkins: The Perfect Storm, Part 2
What happens when a deceitful, disordered person promotes effective but defective diet plans which then grow into a dynamic but dysfunctional business?

That confluence forms the perfect recipe for disaster.

The ingredients?

The person, Kimmer/Heidi Diaz

The professional practices of Kimkins

The plans of Kimkins

The plan behind the plans at Kimkins

The people of Kimkins

Now, a look at the professional practices of Kimkins.

Kimmer first gave out her brand of diet advice (as well as hair care and skin care tips) for years on Low Carb Friends, which garnered both followers and foes. I am not sure when the idea of her own site first began in her mind, whether it was all a carefully-laid plan, or just an opportunity too good to pass up when it arose. Judging from her track record of not sticking very long with any one thing (whether it be school or work or a relationship), I would guess that it was the latter. My conjecture is that she joined the diet site in all sincerity, hoping to lose weight like anyone else. She probably learned some things and had some initial success, but then, being Kimmer, she just couldn't help embellishing things a bit, highlighting her successes and ignoring her failings, amplifying it more and more, becoming more extreme over time, as it began to attract some attention. Gradually, the gap between her words and her actions widened, as she could not follow through with her knowledge and intentions, but could not allow herself to back down and admit it, either. She may have done what many of us have done ---- promised herself to get back on track tomorrow, next week, next month, try to be extra strict to make up for it, only to give in to her old ways again. Her real life wasn't working for her at all --- but online she could be the best possible version of herself, everything she every dreamed of, until perhaps she came to believe it herself. The attention and approbation were too addicting. At some point, it seems, delusion reigned supreme, and there was no backing down. As her claims became more grandiose and her polarizing presence began to dominate and draw heat more and more at the LCF forum, another member, Catherine, approached her with the idea of an ebook and a website to sell it. (Read more here.) I think it was the brass ring, the golden goose, and Kimmer/Heidi grabbed at the opportunity for . Once that thought was there, I do believe Kimmer purposely aggravated her enemies and gathered her fans even more, setting the stage for her big exit. Soon, 'Kimmer' flounced off in a huff, and Kimkins.com was launched as a partnership between Heidi Diaz, supposed diet guru and Catherine McDonald, tech expert.

In the early days of the Kimkins website, Kimmer seemed to have it all --- a successful diet plan, satisfied customers who were easy to please, low overhead, and a competent business partner who made her ideas work. Her departure from LCF calmed down hostilities quite a bit all around, and Kimmer was left to operate her own site in her own little corner of the internet with little interference. If she had made the right moves then, Heidi/Kimmer might possibly have been able to continue on course to a legitimate business success for quite some time to come. However, because Kimmer at her core is a fraud, it was inevitable that any enterprise built on that basis would soon begin to crumble.

Kimmer was not only a fraud in her own personal claims of large, rapid weight loss, but she soon began building the business of Kimkins around fraud at virtually every level --- member service, marketing, and management.

~ Fraudulent Member Service: She lied to her members about the safety and efficacy of her diet plans, leading them to believe her plans were safely based on the recognized plans of doctors such as Dr. Atkins and Dr. Stillman, while continuing to push them ever farther away from the cautions and sensible limits of those plans. She assured members it was safe, because, after all, it had worked so well for her, or so she said. She also began to be less and less available to members, despite her promised member benefit of 'personal coaching'. She ignored or gave inadequate and misleading answers to valid member concerns. This was because she apparently preferred to spend her energies on marketing, to keep new paying customers coming in the front door while leaving the members mostly on their own to look out for one another.

~ Fraudulent Marketing: In her marketing campaign, she lied to prospective members by spamming Craigslist with fake listings to plug Kimkins, by posting phony 'articles' and answers and numerous blogs for Kimkins all over the internet under various names, by promoting Kimkins with false implied celebrity endorsements specifically to target teens, and primarily by posting numerous fraudulent 'success' stories with 'lifted' and photoshopped 'before' and 'after' pictures. She also made numerous claims she had no proof of or right to make, in violation of FTC regulations.

~ Fraudulent Management: Heidi/Kimmer entered into partnership with Catherine originally under false pretenses, and continued to lie to her about many things, including the source of the 'success stories'. It also appears that Heidi skimmed a certain part of the gross proceeds from the partnership before profits were split, by funneling income to supposed affiliate accounts which actually led back to her. It is unclear whether proper legal or tax filings were ever made, though it does not appear they were.

In matters big and small, every bit of the Kimkins enterprise was fraught with deception. It was bound to catch up to her sooner or later.

Before too long, Catherine began to have concerns about Heidi's integrity, and backed out of the partnership. At this point, Kimmer claims to have brought in 4 other partners to finance Catherine's buyout, but this is highly doubtful. For one thing, one of the partners she claims to have brought in at that time is Heidi Diaz, but photographic and written evidence clearly shows that Kimmer herself is Heidi Diaz. (For example, Kimmer has always acknowledged that Catherine was her partner in the beginning, and Catherine signed the original partnership agreement with Heidi Diaz.) Other names mentioned as possible 'partners' include Dennis Sharp (her son), Vanessa Sharp and/or Romero (Vanessa Romero is her niece), Nicki or Nikki Sharp, and Tish Diaz. It is extremely unlikely that these relatives are actually working, decision-making partners as Kimmer leads people to believe. It is possible they put up some money so Heidi could buy out Catherine; it is possible she got money from them under some other pretext; it is very possible they know little or nothing, and she is just using their names to seem like a larger and more legitimate enterprise. Nicki and later Vanessa disappeared from the "Meet Your Team' roster some time ago, so it is possible they were based on actual people who became aware of the use of their identities, and protested it.

I have seen various things supposedly 'written' by some of those names and now Brad Johnson. To me. they all have the same unmistakable writing style, and are all almost surely written by Heidi herself, who freely admits to writing frequently under various male and female names. No one has ever spoken or communicated with any of them, except through Kimmer, and she trotted out the same excuses over and over as to why they were not available. (Usually they were 'called out of town to deal with a sick father'.) Kimmer herself often spoke to me of doing all affiliate payouts and answering affiliate questions, even though she supposedly had an affiliate manager. These 'partners' were probably a construct that Kimmer used to pass blame, as when criticizing someone ('the partners don't think they are getting their money's worth') or floating unpopular ideas ('the partners are pressing to make the fees monthly vs. lifetime membership', which she brought up to me several times), as well as to provide other 'identities' under which to hide income.

In fact, there is no good reason to assume that the entity of Kimkins is anything other than Heidi Diaz sitting at her computer pumping out fraudulent marketing and picking up funds from Paypal and the mailbox, with a tech guy or two working remotely and unaware of the real situation, and paid and unpaid admins and members doing the heavy lifting on the site.

The best of businesses, with a solid business plan and an experienced team of managers would have been hard pressed to absorb the massive explosion of growth that occurred with the Woman's World magazine feature. Kimmer only had forum helpers with very little knowledge of the true nature of the business; after all, she could not afford to bring anyone into her confidence, because she had too many secrets to hide. So, Heidi was suddenly way out of her league. She was gleeful at the funds rolling in, and foolishly thought she could continue to get away with the same type of scamming indefinitely. She was even in contact with Star magazine for another feature. Who knows? Maybe she even thought she could lose the weight, go legit, and make it work. However, her newfound success soon began to cave in on her.Once thousands of new members hit the site and began trying to understand and apply the diet, the pressure was too heavy and all the cracks in the foundation soon began to appear. Without the personal mentoring and reinterpretation of the diets that new members had received before, the flaws and gaps in Heidi's business soon became very evident. Many of those coming in with fresh eyes clearly saw the disparity between what was promised and what was delivered. Many clearly saw the dangers of the diet plans, all of them. Of the 40,000 or more who joined, most never even tried the diet once they actually saw it, and many who did try it did not stick with it long. Meanwhile, all the massive attention the diet was receiving reignited the souldering controversy that she thought she had left behind at LCF. However, Heidi did have two things working in her favor: the misplaced support of people like me who encouraged new members to stick with it, and the absolute sheer desperation of overweight people who had almost given up hope. For my own blindness and supporting role in it, I am sick-to-my-stomach sorry, and beg forgiveness.

At this time, Heidi seemed manic with delight over the income rolling in, and eager to spin off new ventures - more magazine and media features, merchandise, and related enterprises like the nutrition business she offered me. She could hardly be bothered with member support or complaints, and brushed off all concerns as something irrelevant, hardly worthy of her attention, even as worrisome side effects and evidences of her dishonesty mounted. Thus, the round of emails I pressed on her, with the results that we admins began to leave and express our concerns and experiences.

Our exits and warnings further precipitated a rash of blockings and bannings, as other members took up the banner and began speaking out. The business of Kimkins is now woefully in breech of the terms of their agreement with their members, who paid for lifetime membership in a healthy and safe diet followed by a woman who lost 198 lbs in 11 months and maintained it, only to be booted without warning when they complained that the diet was unsafe and the owner's story was a lie. Members have had 'privileges' like private messaging and blog links in their signatures revoked, have been flamed and harangued mercilessly for any hint of breaking ranks,and have been banned without warning, redress, or refund on the vaguest pretext of 'violation of Terms of Service', which, like the diet plans and disclaimers, are an ever-moving target, conveniently changed after the fact.

Kimmer had it all --- a million dollar website, a great staff, great member loyalty, and great future prospects. And due to great greed, arrogance, and dishonesty she threw it away.

Kimmer is now behaving like a rat backed into a corner, biting and snarling, while looking for a way of to escape unscathed. She is starting to meltdown, trying to cover her tracks and salvage what she can, leaving more of the running of things in the hands of unqualified admins. Perhaps she still thinks she can pull it off, or perhaps she is making her exit plans. As she continues to overestimate herself and underestimate her opponents, she will find, once again, that she has made a grave mistake in waiting too long.

Kimmer is a dangerous fraud, and the business of Kimkins is a dangerous fraud.

Both need to be stopped, and the sooner, the better.

FaithM writes of her struggles & suffering as a result of the Kimkins Diet...

Another LCF member, FaithM, wrote a very poignant post this morning about her day-to-day struggles and suffering as a result of the Kimkins Diet:

"...I just finished watching Christin's video blog. It was extremely upsetting and yeah, I am in tears, crying for her. And for all of us. Even after all these pages I am upset to my stomach. I'm shaking and my heart's beating heavy and I question myself whether I want to even bring myself into this any further because I don't want to make it sound like I am making it all about me, because I'm not trying to do that. I do want to talk about it with you guys though because we all know what each other has been/is going through. Well ok, maybe only sometimes I want to talk about it. Sometimes I want to just sit back and continue watching this whole mess unfold, denying I got caught up in it too. But the truth is I suffer through every single day worrying about how I am going to right things in my mind and body! I just don't want to gain all of my weight back.

Kimkins, K/E, and all her "variations" of this diet screw up a person's mentality like nobody's business and right now my head is pretty messed up. I know there are some moves I've been needing to make on my part that I haven't done yet and that is my fault. It sounds wrong but I keep telling myself I have to worry about getting the rest of the weight off before anything else and that's all that matters.

I just went through the last 2 days on a sugar/carb binge and this morning mapping out how I was going to get by on as little as I possibly can to try and make up for it. Then I watched Christin's video and now I don't know what the hell I'm going to do because it hit me so hard, the realities of it all.

The destructive cycle just has to end. Not just with me but with everybody who has fallen into this crap trap. The more I read about it and the longer it goes on and the longer innocent people stay in the dark and the not so innocent people keep on supporting it...the more angry and pissed off I get! This is so freakin' NOT LEGAL!!"

Please, if you are contemplating starting the Kimkins Diet, DON'T! It will ruin your mind, body, health and life.

MyCannelloni reveals the Kimkins Diet's effects on her...

On Low-Carb Friends this morning, MyCannelloni writes of the serious decline of her health as a result of following the Kimkins Diet. She, like Christin, suffered from heart arrhythmia, esophageal spasms, etc.

Here is what she posted:

"Christin's video has brought all of my Kimkins horror memories back up.

I was only on it for a few months, but I started it after I had reached goal (115). I wanted to lose a few more pounds. I ended up weighing in near the bottom of "normal weight" per the BMI chart, but my frame is between medium and large, so I think I was at the absolute bottom at 104 lbs.

I experienced the loss of ovulation, severe panic and anxiety attacks, rapid heartbeat and arrhythmia. I attributed this all to stress since my personal life was indeed very stressful.

But the worst part was the incredibly painful and scary chest pain. Gallbladder problems were ruled out. I began to have reflux 24/7. I was worried I had esophageal cancer. The mysterious pain was so unnerving that I had crying spells and couldnt enjoy being model-thin. Finally it became evident that I was having terrible esophageal spasms. I also ended up attributing this to stress, and some extended release anti-spasmodic medicine helped a great deal.

It wasn't until I found out about Heidi's lies that I questioned her program. In the course of one weekend reading the first Fascination thread, I realized that I was anorexic while doing Kimkins and had no idea.

And now I wonder if my body's freaking out due to stress was also linked with or was directly caused by my starvation menus. I never told my primary care doctor how few calories I was eating (at the low end of my BMI!). I didn't tell my GI doctor either. I'll never know if it was stress or an eating disorder that caused my health problems.

There's one thing I do know. I was starving and thought I was in safe territory because I believed I had excess body fat, and Kimmer had me convinced that eating little to nothing was dandy if there was excess body fat present. I am actually grateful to be several pounds above goal right now. I'm better off now than I was at 104...struggling to find suits for job interviews because the size 2 skirts slid off of my hips..."

Considering Kimkins? WAIT! Please see Christin's video blog!!!

In a poignant, heartbreaking video, Christin talks about the serious health issues she has experienced and is currently experiencing as a result of the Kimkins diet.

Christin, the woman who was recently featured on the cover of Woman's World magazine, lost 100 pounds while on the Kimkins diet. As well as losing weight, she also lost not only 60% of her hair but has been recently suffering heart arrhythmia and esophageal contractions, causing severe pain in her chest cavity.

As a result of the arrhythmia and esophageal contractions, Christin was rushed to Emergency this week. These are very serious and potentially deadly results of the Kimkins diet.

Please visit Christin's blog, The Journey, to watch her video. It is moving, heartfelt, and will save your life if you're either considering or following the Kimkins diet.

The Slimmer Kimmer That Wasn't

I once read a post on blog etiquette (can't recall where) and it stated that it was a bloggers responsibility to comment on current affairs. Just for today I am going to fulfill my responsibility because I would like to feel like a conformist little netizen - today it's my civic duty as a low-carber to give you my take on the Kimkins scandal, or as I have affectionately dubbed it KimmerGate - Controversy at it's best. I'm not sure exactly how it all came to the crescendo it has but I'm pretty sure I've read the most of it. Unfortunately I don't have the time to into the nitty gritty details because I do have to go get cuticle balm this morning. Still, I am doing my best to give you an outline and lots of places to go to check out this juicy bucket of gossip that is deliciously irresistible.

First of all I just have to say that I have never tried, nor advocated Kimkins and I have paid no money for access to the Kimkins site. Hell I don't even know anybody who has been on Kimkins, so of course I am the perfect person to get up and give my opinion on it because I've read it all and have duly formed one of my arsey little opinions - think of me as your back-seat driver.

Now we get to the good part. I honestly never thought I would find a bigger scammer than Dr Phil, but it would seem that she is out there going by the name of Kimmer (aka) Heidi Diaz - although, the lady in the spotlight would have you believe otherwise at the moment (see further down for explanation). Here are some pictures - supposedly Kimmer/ Heidi. I got these pictures from Low Carb Friends:

She says she is ALL of these women but No SILLY! Ha ha ha, you funny girl you *tsk* because DUDE, no matter how skinny you get, unless you work on the set of those Mission Impossible movies (aptly named dontcha think?) you can't change your AGE or your BONE STRUCTURE. So I went ahead and put my own slant on things. I think it looks much much better.

It would seem that this lady here

has decided that she knows something about diet and nutrition. She started out on Low Carb Friends saying that she had lost 200lbs in 11 months. Thats almost 91 kilos! Holy shamoly - uh oh I can smell something .. is it ..bullshit? Oh, did I really say that? Anyways, she copped a few nay sayers on Low Carb Friends because some said her pictures were dodgy (Nooo! Really?) so she took herself and a few followers off to set up her own website where you had to pay to get access. She says she took the Atkins diet and the Stillmans diet and 'tweaked' them to come up with Kimkins. Really what she did is only known to her because to the rest of us it just looks like she wanted to starve a bunch of people to death. According to people on Kimkins forums she was saying that you can live on 400 to 500 calories and its GOOD - a perverse diet limbo of how-low-can-you-go. She even made up her own clever little abbreviation called SNATT. Stands for Semi Nauseus All The Time and it's the place you want to be on Kimkins! Want some undies or a mousepad with that on it? Head to her online shop and you can buy yourself up a storm (okay maybe not the undies, but the mousepad is all go). So in the land of Kimmer the urge to ralph 24/7 is a good thing, wonder what our Dr Phil would have to say about that? As nutty as that bastard can be, he at least has a staff of researchers to make sure the shit he says can be sourced/verified by some mostly innocuous credible extrapolations. Not to mention he has qualifications. Unlike Heidi who just uses the force to concoct her crap without so much as a sniff of a degree or common sense.

As you can imagine people started getting sick and some developed nasty little eating disorders while on the Scamkins Kimkins program. They were losing hair, getting all nauseous, feeling dizzy - pretty much unable to go about their daily business as usual for the fatigue and side effects of this preposterous eating plan. I am sure I heard somewhere they had an egg white challenge, I shit you not - egg whites only diet - hmmm very nutritious. Unfortunately when the sickly folk asked about these issues on their support forums they were shoo'd under the carpet. They mustn't have been following the plan properly according to Kimmer. There are a bunch of stories at Kimkins Survivors you can take a peek at if you want to.

Then some dumbass magazine

went and ran a story about how this diet was better than gastric bypass surgery and they printed the fake pictures crediting them to one of Heidi Diaz's aliases, Kim Drake (Heidi's middle name is Kimberly and Drake is her mums middle name apparently). According to folk out there on WWW this brought in about 40 000 members. I can't be personally sure of those figures but you get the gist that she copped a stack of members and a stack of cash as Kimkins memberships had soared to $60 a pop. A lot of people are really annoyed at womens world because they showed the journalistic integrity of Patrick Poivre d'Arvor. Nice going and good to see that the magazine was concerned with health of their reading demographic. When Womens World were contacted they got a bit pissy and ordered that the people using this image of their magazine cover to cease and desist (thanks slamboard for the picture). To date they have not printed a retraction. I guess they figure they don't have to be morally responsible because they are a trash magazine. I will note in future that if I ever come across a copy (we don't get it here in Australia) I shall use it for toilet paper. But I strongly suspect when used in such a manner it will fail in it's purpose by only spreading the crap around rather than cleaning it up - oh look! You can parallel that with the publication and distribution of the Kimkins Story *HEE!* Two words, fact-checking people.

From what I can ascertain things kept getting worse with more people getting sick/ questioning Kimkins advice and many started being banned as anti-Kimkins, jealous of the plan because they were too weak to follow it. Fast forward to Heidi Diaz's ex business partner hiring a private investigator out to figure out what the frock was going on with all of this because throughout all of this nobody had ever met kimmer! What was discovered was that Heidi Diaz has disappeared up her own arse, evidenced here:

This really is a picture of Kimmer. So if she has lost 91 kilos and is now 118lbs (53kgs) she claims she is, then I am an anorexic. Seriously dude it looks like her left cheek alone is 53 kilos. Please, take no offence fat people of the world for I walk among you but come-the hell-on! What universe accepts THAT as 53 kilos? At the claimed weight she should packing a nice little pair 'o peaches, not giant fucking pumpkins ready for weigh in at the fair. I think she might have lied a little on her resume - oopsie!

It seems that the private investigator discovered that Heidi Diaz is a bald (like Telly Sevalis bald), morbidly obese woman. Again oopsie! So all the advice she has given her members has been shall we say, a tad misguided. She has also made some other bogus claims including:
.
Being a foster parent for which she accepted fundraised moneys for the kids - in her defense she was a foster carer ... just she had the kids removed .. cause they got drunk .. while she was drunk ... a long long long time ago .... in a land far far away HAHAHA - god I make me laugh!

AND

Her success stories that advocate the Kimkins way of living are shyte - she has lifted internet pictures to make the 'after' shots more dramatic in her success stories(unfortunately one was a known model - oopsie!). Interestingly she has a testimonial from a person who is dead (which could be an accurate account if it were included in the endorsement that they are dead; who knows if it is Kimkins related but they are really dead. So I guess Heidi has a Ouija board and some followers from the afterlife because I think this person has been dead a while). She also made up a blind person who gave a smashing review, she supposedly met Heidi at a braille institute. Again with the oopsie because the institute hadn't heard of her. Darn those pesky telephones!

There is much much more but the clock is ticking and I really do need that cuticle balm.
Now, in a wrap up three of her Admins resigned.
Becky is really worth reading because she is squealing like a piggy, Christin's is okay but doesn't get right down the to harcore nitty gritty like Becky, and Deni gives her side and thats about it. All pieces in the puzzle if you want to get the full picture. Also worth a squiz is The Truth because they are posting up things from the private Admin Forum and Pm's - it has a juicy gossip factor of 9.5, if they give me something really truly damning (like say a picture of Kimmer wharfing the number two special at her computer while giving out diet advice)I am not afraid of giving a 10. See. never let it be said I am a tough-love judge.

It would seem that the good ship Kimtanic is going down as someone has started a class action lawsuit, Heidi seems to think this doesn't matter because she has started denying that she is Heidi (HAHAHAHAHAHA) hmmm ok, but if you wade through all the posts here thats a weensy sccotch unbelievable. All Kimmers details match Heidi' Diaz's and throughout the evolution of this debacle Heidi has gone from being the lady of the hour herself, an employee, a business partner, a relative and incidentally is the person who receives all the money, but now all of sudden she ISN'T Kimmer - uh huh, hold on while I don my dip-shit mask so I can look like I believe that. I suppose she is trying to implement plausible deniability, except she isn't plausible and is being outed by her ex-husband too - how bad does that suck. Now the Kimmer camp are saying without documented medical evidence nobody has a leg to stand on which would be largely inaccurate because Kimmer has sold a diet plan through misrepresentation. Its known as fraud. Imagine buying a tin of baked beans because the label states they are baked beans, but when you get the can home and you open it you find it was really sardines; not just any sardines, but sardines that can make you quite sick. This chunky monkey seems to think everyone out there is a wee bit stupid! Whats worse is said chunkey monkey is listening to the legal advice from an eager to please admin who is using a very limited foray into the judicial system as basis for her assvice advice. I must reiterate I am in no way being comprehensive here, you really should follow all the links to get a true gauge for the extent of the scam Heidi Diaz is running.

There are a whole bunch of additional links that I should put here but haven't because again, my cuticles are screaming so with that I will leave you this parting piece of advice - if it's the size of Yeti and is doling out stupid dietary advice involving laxettes and low calories for weight management for the ample price of $60, then run .. I think you just met Kimmer.
