The Kimkins diet, created by Heidi Diaz, aka Kimmer, is a deadly starvation diet. If you are unfamiliar with the Kimkins diet, do a quick Google search and you will find hundreds of websites warning of the dangers of the diet and the fraudulent actions of Heidi Diaz aka Kimmer.
On the Kimkins website, several female members have asked if anyone has done the Kimkins diet while pregnant. One member said that she didn't want to gain weight and would "actually like to lose a little weight" while pregnant.
Rather than stepping up to the plate and telling these women that following the nutritionally bankrupt Kimkins starvation diet could result in causing untold harm to the fetus, Heidi Diaz aka Kimmer and her sidekick, SingingLass, and whatever administrators are left in that Kimkins ghost town, have failed to warn these women that dieting is the last thing they should do while pregnant.

Please...if you are pregnant and considering any diet, especially a vLCD (very low-calorie diet) like the deadly Kimkins starvation diet, please see your doctor immediately. Failing to do so could cause catastrophic harm to your fetus, including mental retardation.
And Heidi/Kimmer and SingingLass...we will be watching for your responses to these women.

I hope this woman doesn't follow the kimkins diet. I hope someone speaks up in there and sets her straight. The fact that no one in charge has stepped in to inform this woman of the extreme danger of following the kimkins diet while pregnant is disgusting!
Im currently pregnant. I would never never think of doing Kimkins while pregnant! I hope they say something to this woman. I mean, if someone is thinking about dieting while carrying a child, its in my opinion a DEFINITE sign of an eating disorder. SO many things can go wrong!
Truly a tragedy waiting to happen -- if it hasn't already!
